Re: June Buddies!
Hi Ellie
I have had the same problems with opening jars etc.
Now i am back at work as a support worker I feel useless weak as a kitten and my poor colleagues are left to do the heavy work.
Nearly 3 weeks post op and gotta admit they are alot more pain free now and actually feel like they belong to me.
Congrats on your op and enjoy, babe

Re: June Buddies!
Hello Janeybird, have you told your parents then? Must have noticed them in the t-shirt :-/, or was that The Plan?. Hope the visit went well.
Friend of mine came yesterday to have a look, said " but Ellie, you don't look any different?!". Lol. Must be her perception seeing herself (E/Fs) every day lol.
Or was expecting the classic 80's porn star look. Sorry to disapoint. Lol :-)

i really dont think you have a infection hun, you would be in pain with a red swollen boobie, can you call the place where u got it done to talk to them?
i wore quite a tight top today and got a few stares, made me feel quite uncomfortable, should get used to it though,

Re: June Buddies!
Hi again all Junies :)
My cold has gone, but woke up Tue morning with terrible tummy cramps, and diarrhoea. So I stopped taking Diclofenic, as I had heard this can cause tummy troubles! So yesterday was only on paracetemol, 1 x 500mg about 5 hourly through the day. The cramps got better and while I stil had diarrhoea on occassion it didnt seem to bad.... then I get to bed last night and it starts again :( I guess I need to stop all meds and just eat toast and drink water. Has anyone else encountered this?
Thanks
J xx

Hi everyone
I am 7 days post op today, and still in absolute agony, mainly with my right breast, the wound feels to be pulling all of the time, and have a strange pulling like sensation in my nipple, even though that was not operated on. I had 420 unders. Has anyone else felt this bad at 7 days ?? when i had my first op i was fine after about 5 days, but this time i feel rubbish xx

Re: June Buddies!
Hi girls, how are you doing? Bumblelady I have a little pain now. Day 6 and I feel great. Pulling sensation from under the muscle and hyper sensitive nipples.
Managed to cook chili & rice, did some washing and other bits of housework today. Felt useless until today.
Tried most of my shirts and dresses and they all still fit. No more masses of padding. I am too looking forward to that bonfire.I am soooooo happy, nothing could wipe the smile of my face.
Girls thank you all so much for being there for me when I need it you. Could not do it without your support xxx

Re: June Buddies!
Well I'm back from hospital bandaged from my knees to my chest, in pain and not had much sleep last night.
I had my BA & abdominoplasty done on Monday (26th) at the Golden Jubilee in Glasgow on NHS due to severe weight loss in the past. I was meant to get an uplift at the same time but when the surgeon cam to draw all over me he reckoned I would only gain 1cm higher and did I really want scarring all around my nipples for 1cm. Therefore we decided I would jut have implants put in. I have had 2 different sized implants put in as my breasts were asymetrical due to a previous scar under my right breast so I have had a sz 10 & 14 gel implant put in. I feel a bit like dolly parton though and I am hoping they go down abit as I really didnt want huge breasts. I have on a 34C sports bra which is fine but don't think this is there actual size they feel amazing though hehe
My boyfriend thinks they look great but I am unsure. I feel that they are too big and I have no feeling in them as such, does anyone else have this problem?
To be honest they are not that sore just swollen its my belly that hurts bad and restricts my movement. I will post the information about that in the other surgery section.
all in all though day 3 post op i'm OK,
Has every1 else been for surgery on the 26th - just wondered how u all feel?
xx
