Re: June Buddies!
I am packed now for the overnight stay at the hospital. Do you have any tips what else apart from the obvious, I should take with me? Will I need my V pillow? Some money for extra food? Cotton wool, wipes? G I am making myself nervous :-)

Re: June Buddies!
Good Luck Ellie i suggest you take your V pillow even if u don't use it in the hospital its great to put in front of you on your way home in the car apart fro that i'd say take some money but u probably won't need loads. I don't know what a 340cc will take you too as i went 410cc but had alot of breast tissue to fill up having breast fed two children and i went over the muscle. Talk to you ps and ask what the 340 is gonna take you too. xx

Hi ladies,
well i did it, thanx for all your support youve been brill and you were all right the pain was not as bad as i expected hurrah
Ellie youll be fine; things i was glad i took - trashy magazines and exfoiliating facewipes for afta surgery- much needed. Everything else was provided by lovely nurses and staff (really nice) food and drink on tap and lovely room, all in all a nice experience (apart from the needle yuck) Bumblelady is right about drinking lots of water to flush GA out of u asap is horrible i got all emotional and panicky as it was wearing off so dont worry if happens to you it passes.
Good luck - youll be fine, if u need me just ask

Re: June Buddies!
It is good to be back Home. Boobies look wondwrful And as Janeybird, I had great exerience at the hospital. Made friends with couple of staff. The food and pain killers were on tap too and atnight got to watch "Cold Case". The rivate room felt like an hotel room - stayed at Lifestyle Manchester. Mr Traynor is a god. Done fab job with mine. No bruising at all. The pain however is horendous even withprescribed Co-codamol. I hope it will ease off in couple of days. Girls love you all and happy healing. I am stoned so sorry for the errors x

Re: June Buddies!
hiya ellie, the first 6 days are the worst, i stopped taking the co-codamol after a week then paracetamol when i needed it,
make sure you have loads of rest and water,
also co-codamol binds u up so take senacot if nothing happens in the next day or 2, i waited 6 days and it wasnt nice,

Re: June Buddies!
Hey girls,
I am still very sore. Husband went to work this morning and I got up with him. By 10am I started to get really hungry. Managed to take a plastic jar with cous cous down the shelf from a garage. Easy to prepare meal, just to steam in a cup of water. Well down it went and it hurt. I was happy then, got the kettle boiled and took a little rest. When it came to putting the cous cous into a dish, I could not manage to open the damn jar. lol had a little laugh to myself. How pathetic.
To take the hunger away a little, I decided to have a cuppa. Water was boiled by then. Got the cup ready only to reailise I could not stretch for the tea bag jar neither. Ha Ha.
Husband took tomorrow off work .......
