Can you get away with not telling people at work?

I really don't want to tell my boss as I know how fast she spreads gossip! But can I get away with not mentioning anything to her?!!

What have other girls done in this situation? Help!

I took the time off as leave and when people asked where I was going I just made out I was going to visit friends in london. You dont need to tell anyone you dont want to, although it could prove tricky if your giving them a sick note but even then you could say its a lady op. x

It all depends some companies don't pay you for having sick leave for any sort of cosmetic surgery. I am not going to tell work and just take a few weeks off work as holidays. I only work three days a week in a supermarket so it won't be too bad. Just worried I won't take enough time off to recover.

I would if you can just take time off has holiday or unpaid leave then you won't have to make any excuses or tell them what it is for.

Think I'll just book two weeks off as holiday and hope that I will be able to go back to work by then. Has anyone taken longer than two weeks off to recover?

Hi Lovely
I have also taken 2 weeks off. I am having overs and MYA said that a week would probably be enough but because I do a lot of driving with work they said 2 would be best.
I have only told one friend at work and my boss and she has told her boss and thats it.
I know people are gonna gossip but then its up to them!
Lots of love

Sometimes it's best to be honest. If your going for a dramatic change people are bound to notice, you just need to remember your reasons for doing this and let everyone else think what they like. They are only jealous coz you are looking amazing :-)
