Donate your old bras to charity
I've just stumbled across this site and thought it was such a good idea for pre-oppers wondering what to do with their old bras. Instead of just chucking them in the bin, they would be of use to charity.

Re: Donate your old bras to charity
wow would never have thought of this, unfortnately mine are all gone now, i did keep back one which was the last one i wore before my initial BA but i got rid of it a few weeks back as it no longer held a memory i wished to remember!!
Great idea and makes you realise there are women out there who don't even have a Bra let alone decent cleavage, makes you realise just how lucky you are x x

Re: Donate your old bras to charity
Brilliant idea. I have desperately been trying to get some wear out of my nicest bras before my BA as I am gutted to be getting rid of some of them, but donating them will make me feel like they haven't gone to waste

This is such a fabulous idea.
I have surgery in December and was planning a clear out of bras just before surgery so nice to know they can be donated to a good cause.

Re: Donate your old bras to charity
Girls after seeing this post I have been having a look online at bra recycling & this organisation is doing a similar thing to raise money for breast cancer and small businesses in Africa, with loads of local "bra bins" in tesco's etc. there is a list of location on there website! Such a fabulous idea, and I will deffo be donating all my old bras after my op xxx

Re: Donate your old bras to charity
Mine are already spoken for, my friend has a 12 yr old daughter, when I told her about my ba, she was like 'ah excellent can daughter have your old bra's, she's same size as you'. Lol
I was like, if I was ever undecided...I am so getting this boob job!

Re: Donate your old bras to charity
I have donated lots of my old bras to cat welfare charity shops which then sell them on to make money for the centre. And I will be donating more once I've had my boobs done x

Animal Testing
Heyy just checked out this link for donating my huge bag of all bras!
I do check out all charities before I donate to check if the money raised will go towards any animal testing.
The breast cancer campaign through breasttalk.co.uk goes to Breast Cancer Now who unfortunately do fund testing on animals, just popping that info on here so people reading can make an informed choice.
I have now found out about a programme through Oxfam who collect old bras to support the livelihoods of women living in developing countries.
You can donate to any Oxfam charity shop, and through some Marks and Spencers stores too, all the info is on the Oxfam web page the programme is called Frip Ethique, it looks pretty amazing and I will definitely be sending my big bag of bras there, nice to know they will be so useful!
