Anyone who didn't have a Pre-op Appointment?
I've got pre-op blood tests tomorrow to make sure my platelet levels are high enough but when I asked my PS if I would be having a pre-op appointment she said 'no'. I thought this was when they did things such as taking your before pics etc? Did anyone else not have one? Do they just do all the pre-op stuff on the day if not? Thanks xx

Same for me Sophie, I'm just going through a private hospital too so maybe they just do it differently depending on where you go x

Re: Anyone who didn't have a Pre-op Appointment?
I had a pre-op assessment 1 week before my op day.
It lasted about 20 minutes and the nurse went through an extensive medical questionnaire, took my blood pressure, did my mrsa swabs (nose and armpit) and weighed me. She was meant to do a blood test too but I managed to wiggle myself out of it!
She then told me what would be happen on the day of the op, explained the procedure and confirmed what sports bras I needed to bring.
