380cc or 410cc???? so confused!!

Hi Girls

I'm new year so bear with me :) I'm booked in with Mr Meleagros at Abbey Riverside at the end of May and although I've got a couple of months to go before my boobie day, I can't stop thinking about what size implant to go for...............

I'm currently a 34 b/c and ideally would love to be a 34E. I tried both the 380's and 410's at my consultation but I'm still so confused!

If anyone has any advice on what size implant I should go for, I'd be soooooo gratefull!

hiya i dont think theres much difference between the 2 implant sizes, i had the same option dr khan @ transform was my surgeon and he offered me both, my option was 410 left 380 right or 380 left 340 right however i decided to go for the 380/340, so in october 2009 i had a 380 in the left and a 340 in the right. I started a 32B and now im wearin a 32FF-G bra.

everyones different tho, some people ive spoke to have had a 410 implant and ended up smaller then me, some people ended up the same..

I had the same surgeon and the same dilema, its awful its all you can think about. I went for the 410's in the end as there really isn't that much between them. I was a 32C before and i'm getting measured tonight so not sure what size i am yet.

I'd defo go for the 410's if i was you. I thought i'd be upset if there were too small but if there were too big then i'd live with it.

I'm afraid I have to disagree with the ladies above Although there is only 40ccs difference in size, when they are in your body it DOES make a difference. I've recently reduced my implants from 460s to 410s so only 50ccs smaller, I haven't found any difference in the projection of the implant, what I have found though is that my breasts aren't as wide and being petite this has made a big difference in 'my' shape, I loved my boobs before, but always felt they were far too large for my frame, just having that small reduction has given me boobs that finally 'fit' my body shape and I'm much happier now.

I couldn't possibly advice you on what sized implant YOU should have hun, I can only share my personal experience with you and tell you that just as Danielle was upset at the thought of being too small, it can be equally upsetting having breasts that you feel are too large, so it is a very hard decision to make I know babe.... So what I would strongly advice would be if you're so torn with sizing that you arrange a second consultation with your surgeon to again discuss sizes, your surgeon may even suggest that when he has you in surgery, he will himself choose which he feels best fits your frame on the day.

as ladies have said depends on your size and frame and what size you are before really I think its common to be undecisve on size I was at first Im also with mr meleagros on sunday7th march Im having 525cc overs but I already have implants 300cc in so im going 225cc bigger Im hoping for a full f cup but the sizes vary so much !!!! I think you should discuss with your surgeon at lentgh tell them what look your hoping to acheive and what you dont want they do this on a day to day basis and they can see your shape and frame so will know what works best for you hunni Ive seen some humungus 525ccc and some than look smaller than what Ive got !!!! are you having overs ? xxxxxxxx

congrats on booking! I had the same option too but had 410 in the end and im so glad i did. i was smaller than you before hand i was an A and ended up a DD. i wouldnt want them smaller xx

I totally empathise with you on this one choosing the size is a nightmare.I completely agree with the girls here and think its very important to work with the 'look' you want rather than cup size and a good starting point is asking yourself how would you feel if you ended up bigger or smaller than you wanted because this is a reality that happens often. You also need to have another consult with yiour PS to clarify your needs as this will reassure you and ensure he gives you the best outcome possible. I personally went with the smallest option I was given but couldve happily gone smaller again if I were to do it over.

When I tried the 380's at my consultation I thought they looked a bit small and that I would go with the 410's but after reading that some girls the same size as me that had the 410's are now a FF it kind of masde me think twice lol. Im really worried that if I have the 380's I'll want them bigger and if I have the 410's I'll want to go smaller!! I'm also worried that if I go with the 410's that they might not look as pert?!

I didn't know it was possible to see my surgeon again before my op and I think I'm just worried that he'l think I'm being a bit of a pain lol. I think I'll have to book in to see him soon as its driving me nuts!

Hi Lucy.

You'd be best not taking other girls resulting sizes into account when considering your own hun. Most of us get a different size from the same sized implant based on our own measurements which vary greatly from person to person and none of us are exactly the same.

You should be able to have a second consultation if you want, I did and I was so reassured leading up to my op. Base your decision on what you and your surgeon feel would be best suited to you, take in some pics of the look you want as that often helps a surgeon decide too. xxx

I saw my surgeon the day before and the nurses the week before that as I was going insane worrying about the size. Im sure he wont mind a bit as they want us to be happy with the results .

It's so difficult to choose isn't it. I had 3 options given to me and after discussing them and trying the implants with my surgeon, we discussed the risks of a bigger implant and I then decided on 410. We do all get such different results from even the same size implant that even looking at the stats of someone with exactly the same height, weight, build etc it can't guarentee the same size, it's like our bodies decide what cup size we get. The surgeon will be able to give you a good idea of what you will get but even they can't guarentee you a cup size. Have you shown the surgeon pics of how you want to look? Taking pics of the size boobs you want will give the surgeon the best idea of what you hope to achieve.

I agree with MisF1. I took pictures in with how I wanted my boobs to look and that it what I got!

I had 410s from a 32B and am now a 30FF or a 32G depending on the bra.

Now, that sounds huge but it's not really.

I told my surgeon that I wanted to be a DD or an E but to be honest, I think when you are flat chested, you don't really have a good idea of cup sizes. By that, I mean that I would look at a picture of a girl and think, she looks a DD, I'd love that size, when in reality, she was probably a F cup.

I'm so pleased with mine and if I had of ended up a DD, I wouldn't be happy with the size as my FF's/G's are perfect on my frame.

hi i had 410 im 32ff now but look like a dd/e so my friends tell me i was 32 small b to begin with i would go with 410 bcause once their in they do look slighty smaller

Hi hon, im getting 380cc overs and have been told to expect a d/dd which is what i want. if you want an e cup i would go with the 410 if i were you to be on the safe side xxx

I've been in touch with Transform and will hopefully have another consultation with my surgeon soon, I'm going to make sure I take a few pictures too so he knows exactly what I want!
