Do I have more softening to go?
Hi ladies,
I was wondering when most of the softening occured for you post op girls? Mine are softening and have a lot since the op as the swelling has reduced. but they are still pretty hard at the top compared to before - have I got more softening to go do you think (i am 5wks post op) or is this it? Are implants a lot firmer than real boobies? I hope the do soften up more!
thanks bosom buddies!

Re: Do I have more softening to go?
I noticed the most softening at 3-4 months. Then again recently. So I would say you probably have more to come. After grabbing a few of my big busted friends boobs for comparison mine are a bit firmer on a firm squeeze but feel no different on a soft squeeze. I had to grab theirs as I didn't have any boobage to compare before and after.

haha - no i didn't have much! They are getting softer at the bottom but the cleavage area is still kind of solid, i probably need to be patient and give it time!

It's a long journey having boobies done. But it goes quick. And totally worth it. Patience isn't my strong point either lol
Re: Do I have more softening to go?
on you fairly new boobies !!!! mine took around 3 months 1st time round as misf1 has said you will always be firmer than natural boobs but then they will look better so alls good !!!

Re: Do I have more softening to go?
thanks girls for your reassurance, Tonic its good to know yours are nice and soft now as i thought it might be the fact that i had partials making them hard! This patience thing is much harder than it sounds when you're pre op!!!

Mine both times took around 8 - 10 weeks to soften, although mine a re soft now, I still feel after the uplift they still have a little more softening to go.

Re: Do I have more softening to go?
well at list my left one, the right had an hematoma but today ..
I can feel underneath breast tissue there is something harder, that's the implant i guess but all around everything soft, beside some remains of swelling on the chest bone..

Re: Do I have more softening to go?
Thats great Laetitia, you must be doing really well with little swelling. Mine were like two rock hard boulders fixed firmly to my chest for ages! I hardly had any movement in my breasts at all. However now, they're lovely and squishy and can now manage a cleavage in my bra.
Re: Do I have more softening to go?
I wonder if you feel soft quicker if you have more breast tissue pre-op, I notice the 2 ladies that said you softened really quickly were both B cups pre-op?? hmmmm...

Re: Do I have more softening to go?
My boobs started to soften at about 8 weeks, I could squish them together quite easily. They feel really natural now. So you've definately got alot more softening to do, just be patient hun.

Re: Do I have more softening to go?
I was an a cup pre op and my boobs were quite hard at the top for a while. They softened up most around 4/5 months post op. I stupidly went on a rollercoaster on holiday in Florida at 5 months with kust a bikini top on and they were much softer after that - not sure why??
So I would say yes deffo give it a bit more time!
