I've booked! BUT a bit worried about size!
I can hardly believe that I've gone and done it and booked my BA for 13 April. Less than 6 weeks to go :boobstick:
I got on so well with Miss Ali at the Spire in Norwich and I feel like I really trust her judgement BUT there's a tiny bit of doubt in my mind about whether I'll have it done and then think they're not big enough. I'm going back on Tuesday so will discuss it with her then.
I was hoping to be a D cup (currently a small deflated 32B) and had previously been advised to have 330cc high profiles which I was happy about. However Miss Ali very much works within what implant diameter fits your body the best and doesn't like to overstretch the skin. She said she didn't think she could take me any bigger than a full C cup. When she was writing down a list of suitable implants I was a bit concerned that some were as low as 225 and the maximum one was 300cc. Having looked at other peoples stats that seems really small and I don't want to be unhappy afterwards. Any advice anyone? Help! x

Re: I've booked! BUT a bit worried about size!
Your surgeon really is the best person to advise on size. I was an empty 32a pre op and had 265 under which was the largest my surgeon would let me have - he said I would probably be a C cup post op. At 10 months post op I measure a 30E and can also wear a 32dd and 30F(from La Senza). Feel free to pm me if you wantto see my pics.
Its so hard deciding on size and lots of girls do wish they'd gone bigger but I do believe as long as a surgeon knows the result you want they are the best person to advise.

Re: I've booked! BUT a bit worried about size!
Hi again X
The size thing really is the hardest part and messes with your head doesn't it!
Not sure if I can be much help but my stats are the same as yours and I had 325cc and 365cc high profiles.. I am wearing a 34DD sports bra and today My PS said he reckoned I'd keep 95% of that as i'm still only 2wks post op.. so surely you could stretch to 325cc to get your D cup!. Its only a tiny bit bigger implant.. I think you should hassle her! X

Thanks a lot Claire265, I've PM'd you x
Thanks Shelley, it really does mess with your head, especially when you see how different everyone's results are! I think I will try pushing it a bit with her, I've breastfed 2 babies so I don't see how a tiny bit bigger would stretch my skin very much! x

Re: I've booked! BUT a bit worried about size!
Hi there,
Mrs Kat at the Spire also works like that by measuring the breast properly to see what range will fit best. I had the option of 300/330/360/390 & also was a 32B...sometimes 34A prior. I opted for 360's & i am now a 32DD or 34D depending on the bra. I do think if i had the 330's i would have been a full C cup.
Ask about the 330's & 360....you might not have the option of a 325 if its the same make & sizes as Spire at Little aston...as mine were every 30ml.......see what she says. Either way she will be doing what is best for your body & how much breast tissue you actually have x

Re: I've booked! BUT a bit worried about size!
Thanks ladies, I'm glad it's not just me going bonkers over sizes. I've looked at so many piccies of boobies just lately but I'm still none the wiser!!
I am going to take some photos along showing what I would like to achieve and hoping she'll be able to give me an indication of what result she would expect with the sizes she has in mind. I think if she said 300cc I would be happy with that, it was just seeing 225cc etc that made me panic!
Thanks xx

Re: I've booked! BUT a bit worried about size!
Hey hun,
Firstly congrats on booking your op
I'm a 30C, small 32B, I am having eirther the 300 or the 330. I do want the 330's but my ps said he will have them both on the day and if the 330 fits me, I will have that. He did say however, that he is almost certain that the 330 will not fit as it looks too big for me. My ps has said that the 300 will get me my D, maybe DD cup, and the 330 will get me a definate DD, maybe even E.
My advice would be to listen to your surgeon as they are the expert and definately know best. However, if you still feel that your ps won't give you any bigger, maybe see some other surgeons and see what they recc. I do know that a few girls have gone elsewhere to another surgeon who has recc a bigger implant, your decision hun.
Good luck, all this is the most stressful part! x x

Re: I've booked! BUT a bit worried about size!
Hi Funkygirl, wow only 10 more days!!!
I don't think I'd want to go to another surgeon just because they'd do a larger implant. I'd already been told I could have 330s by Mr Scholten but he just didn't seem like the man for me. Miss Ali was great and I feel like I can trust her, I'm sure you're right that they are the experts and know what's best. I'll just try and push it a little bit to try and get the 300 rather than the smaller ones!

Re: I've booked! BUT a bit worried about size!
Hi I started off 32a and 8 years ago had my first BA - my surgeon said he would put 260cc in as biggest he felt I could go and they were unders. However on day of op I asked if any chance he could go bigger he said he would if could - he eventually managed to squeeze in LOL 300cc this took me to a 32D (or a full C). x

Re: I've booked! BUT a bit worried about size!
The size thing is a nightmare!
I found the stats sticky really helpful, i tried to find boobie twins and based my decision partly on them.
I still didn't decide until the last minute though, they were waiting for me in theatre while i was still umming and arring
Good luck
