Wierd little holey bit?!?
On my uplifted left I seems to have developed this little hole on the top of my nipple where it was restitched. It's really wierd because you can only really see it when I get cold and shrink , when I'm warm you can see a little tiny pin sized hole but when I shrink it looks much bigger, it's definitely not infected in fact that part healed quicker than anywhere else did.
Do you think I can do anything about it? Maybe have that little bit restitched so it stays flat? Has anyone else had a similar problem and what did you do about it? It doesn't hurt or anything like that it just looks really wierd

Re: Wierd little holey bit?!?
I've had this just a couple of weeks ago LouLou.
It was stitch coming through, I found that I could eventually see the white stitch stitch coming to the top and was able to get it with tweezers and the hole quickly closed.
If you can't see anything in the hole, it may be worthwhile making an appointment to see your nurse to see if she can see anything hun.

I know what you mean Cookie, I've had a few of those too but this is not the same.
I've probably haven't explained it too well, but the skin isn't broken at all I'm thinking it might be where a stitch was but it was pulled too tight and so when it's healed it's healed too tight?
I might ask James or Adrian, see if they've known anything like it

Re: Wierd little holey bit?!?
i had uplift 16th december and i have had a few issues re stiches around nipples. i think i have had 4 up to now which have had to be removed because they have worked there way to surface. all the other areas are fine - but seem particluarly issue for me around nipples. the ps keeps telling me everything ok and that this is not unusual. hope it settles soon because the areas it happen become red.
when did you have your op??

Hiya
I have also had a couple of stitches that came to the surface on my nipples, my surgeon said it's perfectly normal and to just pull them out with the tweezers.

Re: Wierd little holey bit?!?
Thanks girlies, but I had my op on September 2nd so everything is all healed.
I'm beginning to think it's just an area that was stitched a little too tight, I've spoken to my consultant's secretary and she's said it can sometimes happen and it can easily be fixed by re stiching the pinched area, so hopefully it'll get sorted when I have my implant op
