Congrats to NS - so glad you are loving your "twins".

Anyone heard from Cally - has she had her surgery or not.

Sorry can't keep up with everyone else as all the kiddies are in today and I'm been pulled from pillow to post right now. Can I have this, can I have that. etc. You all know the "drill" lol.

One week today until my pre-op and sizing session. OMG I'm getting nervous now.

I know EXACTLY what you mean ive got 4 and been so bust this week cos my op on saturday so ive had loads of organising to do :)

Sooooo exited to hear from Cally i recon she may have had her surgery cos she hasnt been online all day ( she must have had morning time slot :)

Hi Emma!

I'm excited but got sooo many butterflies in my tummy at the moment!!! I'm currently a 32B and aiming for a 32D after Op.

I'm staying in overnight but don't have to check in at Highgate until 3pm. The nurser at harley medical said i probably won't be due to have my op until about 5pm...it's going to be a long day!!!!!

Yes she must have them or am sure she would have been back on!

Sophie do I need to get painkillers in for afterwards?? What kind should I buy? Should I know this already lol ?????

Zoe they sent me home with 20 tylex (cocodamol 30/500) and 10 diclofenac (ibuprofen 50mg) which are both stronger than what u can buy over the counter. Ive already used half of my tylex... its up to you hun.. maybe you shud buy some cocodamol 8/500 from the pharmacy, just incase you need them. xx

hello

im due to have my surgery on friday 9th (3 days)!!! it completely doesn feel real and to be honest i have blocked it out my head! now im starting to wonder whether i should be doing something?! im not sure what exactly but something just doesnt feel like its real? im not sure if this makes any sense to anyone?!

ive only told my mum and partner so its not something i actually talk about openly that may be partly why? hmmmm im rambling now! xx

I know just what you mean and I'm the same. When you haven't told many people and can't really talk about it it just feels very unreal. I find this forum so useful because it's the only way I can talk to people who know what I'm on about! Friday is nearly here!! All you need to do is be ready to go . I've got mine on Tuesday but I had to have an extra consultation last night so in a way I have felt like I'm doing something towards it near to the date. It's such a massive thing it does seem weird you can just have a couple of short consultations and next thing you know you are going into hospital for the op! Good luck for Friday hun, it will definitely feel real then! xx

MAJOR PANIC this morning! Shocked

I went to see my PS last night and got good news - my blood results yesterday were better than before so I won't need to have a transfusion or steroids before the op. I do still need to stay in overnight just in case but I'm fine with that. I came home all excited thinking WOW THIS IS REALLY HAPPENING! yahoo

BUT I've woken up this morning with a cold sad smile

It's good to see Cally hasn't been back to say her big day didn't happen so she must have her boobies now. I've only got 6 days to go though and now I'm scared mine will get postponed! I've had to arrange so much so it can happen next week so it would be a total disaster if it doesn't :tears:

Red I know exactly what you mean... I have only told my mum, dad, son, partner and three old and faithful freinds who all live miles away now. No one else knows, not even my sister or the 50 or so people i work with at school!! Am having mine done tomorrow (easter holidays) and am hoping to sneak back into work after the holidays (am a teacher) unnoticed as if nothing has happened lol. Been padding my bra out at work for weeks so people already think i have some boobs!!

Don't worry it will all become real when it is about to happpen... This forum is where you need to spend some time, so you don't feel alone with it and the women on here are so well informed and supportive.

Hellooooo all my lovely april buddies .......i have my boobies lol. I was all done and dusted by half 10 yesterday morning......was so brave as had no time to have the pre med i was after so a bit grizzly on the way down hahaha. Ended up with 300cc unders and in 34d bra at the mo but that will likely go down.....not too much though hopefully. It was so much easier than i expected. Still feel bit groggy from ga and obviously bit sore, but just on paracetamol. You all know how scared i was, but it really was ok, so all the rest of you that have yours to come - seriously, you will be fine. Hugs to you all xxxx
