Blimey zoeb, I'm with BMI as well, so I assume that's a standard answer to no op if have a cold. Went into work today and really felt rough, so am off sick tomorrow now as I just want to rest. I can't believe this ....this is really just my luck. Felt a bit weepy today, but am just going to try and not get worked up about it...it's a cold and hopefully will clear up in a few days. Will try a lemsip like lynnie suggested....have my pre op on Thursday and will just see how it goes.

Cally, sorry I didn't mean to depress you. My PS nurse said that because it is elective surgery, not life or death surgery, then the anaesthetist would not take any chances if you are full of cold or poorly.

But you have 7 days yet which is ages, and I think you are right to stay off work and your cold will soon disappear, keep up the lemsip, drink lots of water and gets lots of sleep and I reckon it will be almost gone by Thursday and you will be fit as a fiddle by the weekend... :D

You will have those Boobies Cally!!!! You will !!!!

hey Cally, feel so selfish now hon. I didnt even read any of the posts b4 i wrote mine. Didnt realise you werent well hon, not been on here for a few days. Im sure that you will be fine for the sixth if its just a cold that you have. Make dure you are staying at home, taking lemsip and doing everything you can 2 get better, youll prob be fine in a few days. Thinking of you hon take care xxxx

Cally babe, 7days is plenty of time!! Just make sure u are taking it easy, lotsa fruit n veg etc! Im sure you will be fine hunny!! xx

Hee hee, a Z bra is just a sports bra that was originally designed as a bra for post breast augmentation. So no you don't need one! It's just that I'd heard really good things about them so looked into it. They are quite expensive (about £35) which is why I was glad I found a bargain one on ebay!

I'm not going to spend any more money until I know what size I'll be.

I think you must be the last in April (so far!) but only a week behind me. Are you getting excited yet. I know what you mean about the posts coming thick and fast - I think Nursesophie, zoeb and Cally are getting very excited - it's nearly April girls!

Thanks you two....am bit paranoid about taking anything at the mo, so have so far stuck with paracetamol. Still have a few days to go so hopefully should be ok. Everyone seems to be sick where I work too for some reason.....I think it's called "sods law" lol xx

Cally hun how ru feeling? We currently have a CRAZY blizzard going on here, electricity keeps going off etc! Im freaking out cause not only will it make our drive to the hospital twice as long, but what if we crash on the way home!!! Ahhh stress! lol xxx

Hi girls, im off to lanzarote on the 1st April so i just wanted to wish all you early April girls the very best of luck for your BA's . I have mine on the 20th too but mine is with THG, Hope you feel better really soon Cally. I have been all over the place emotionally the last week , i told my parents ,and my brother and got mixed reactions but then i thought sod it went to our village pub had a few to drink and shouted out " Im getting a boob job and i couldnt careless what you all think" lol but they all were really good and actually interested ,and thought i had some guts to just come out with it! I think a lot of people who are rude about it are just envious or dont understand that we are doing it for ourselves, and not our husbands/partners etc.Any way im away till the 15th ,then im gonna start my boob job diary. Take care ,good luck and happy healing ,and bring on those boobies!!

Everything seems to thin the blood lol...I was taking berrocca, but stopped that last week, even though I didn't realise that vit C was also a no no - good job I did it seems.
How's the weather now nursesophie ? Read in the paper this week that some places were due for some crazy weather.
I've still got my cold....pre op tomoz, so will see what they say xx

Everything is ready just got to pack it, got some mags etc as well as dressing gown, slippers etc
Im so nervous, didnt sleep much last night. Im off work today so i can bottom the house then i know its done, im sure it wouldnt bother me normally but you know how it is, your sat there and cant do it and it drives you mad
This time tomorrow (7.40am) I will be there.
Cant believe how fast its come round. Feel like i have blinked and its arrived, to all the girls later in the month it will be here before you know it.
Going shopping now stocking up on goodies for when im home, and eating.

Hi Emma - i haven't given up smoking either ....have managed to cut down over past couple of weeks and some people have said to me that's maybe why I have a sore throat etc. When is your date ?
As for what to take - the only thing I'm looking at taking is arnica. Ps said couple of days before and couple of days after, as can possibly help with bruising and swelling xx

Zinc is supposed to 'promote' healing lol so think I'll take that! May need arnica too, I bruise like a peach lol! I strted using bio oil last night and will use it after to stop stretchmarks!

Don't suppose any of u just saw the itv lunchtime news? They showed the road in NI that we have to drive up on sun 2 get to the hospital, and it's been bloody closed!! Nightmare! This snow better clear by Sunday!! Grrr! X
