1 Month Post op - from Unders to Overs
Hi girls, I thought I would write a little update on me boobs as i've had a lot of pms asking why i changed and how i likedmy overs etc etc.
I'm 1 months post op as of yesterday and very happy with my overs. I previously had 275 partial unders put in Dec 08 and switched to overs Jan 2010. I did like my unders a lot but my lefty had slightly bottomed out and my nipples were pointing in different directions due to my muscle distortion (this was just my anatomy). Me and my ps decided switching to overs would help with all this.
My recovery was very easy, i was sore and swollen for the first few days but didnt have shiney/pointy boobs as my skin had already stretched. I must stress I couldnt of had overs the first time around because i had such little tissue (AA).
I have found that my breasts dont look very different from my unders now they have settled, there is a little more upper pole fullness but they dont look stuck on - there is a nice slope.
My gap is also 2-3 fingers without a bra but i cant push them together closer now (just shows a gap is based on your anatomy, not placement).
They do feel more bouncy, when i run they really bounce up and down like real breasts, whereas with my unders they didnt move as much.
The down side is i do have rippling now, which i didnt have with my unders, my ps did warn me of this so i was prepared for it. When i bend over i can feel them in my cleavage area but i cant see them (plus i've lost some weight so im hoping when i gain a little more this will go)
Overall I am very pleased with them now and this post isnt trying to dog unders as i think that the under muscle placement can be a great option for many girls, mine didnt look that good to me but i've seen some amazing unders, its all down to the individual and what you and your surgeon feel is best for you

Re: 1 Month Post op - from Unders to Overs
Great post nads. I totally agree that my overs don't look that much different to my unders. Yes they move more naturally and are slightly more squishy but I'd by no means say overs are better or vice versa. Despite the inconvenience of revision surgery I actually feel quite grateful to be able to comment on both placements.
Made up that you're happy nads. Guess it's a bit too early to be measured but do u think the size has differed much?

Re: 1 Month Post op - from Unders to Overs
This is reassuring as I am small to start and have been advised overs to avoid the problems you had. I've prob missed this but what size are you now? x
