Yay- I have boobs and feel great!!

Well, I'm on such a high, my mum has just gone and we have had so much fun for the last few days, shopping, cooking, talking and laughing- I even drove today...maybe that doesn't sound so strange, but I had my BA on Tuesday!!...I have no pain at all except when I tried so see if I can lie on my side, my boobs look fab, no bruising and softening up already- it really is a case of reminding myself that I've just had surgery. I've cut down on painkillers, just taking the dicloflex, 3 times a day, but don't feel I need it. Only problem is not going to the loo yet and only sleeping 2-3 hrs at night, but thats coz I'm just lying there feeling so happy and relieved- I'm buzzing from that and not able to quite switch off, and I know a GA can mess with ur sleep patterns too...I am so very lucky to be feeling so well but wondering if the pain will kick in in a few days...time will tell...oh, and I just LOVE having boobs I will get round to putting some pics up but just going to put my feet up and chill and maybe sleep before my boys are due home....

I am booked in for 16th March and am currently undecided on rounds or anatomicals, if you do get round to getting some pics I would be interested on having a peek, that is of course if you don't mind I understand how personal these things are !

Yay thanks girls :) I had overs as I just about had enough breast tissue and, as I go on the rowing machine regularly, I didn't want to distort the implant or lose strength in my pecs- the easier recovery also helped me decide on placement...yes eastla, I will definately put some pics up later when I've figured out how and you are welcome to see them...good luck with making your choices, it all very exciting! xx

Congratulations, hunni!! I doubt whether your pain will get worse now. Day 3/4 is usually the worst time, and you're at that point now. You must be one of the lucky ones!!!

Wow, that's great to hear you are doing do well already hun! Very reassuring to know that it can sometimes be quite pain free. One of my worries is how I will get back to normal life following the op as I have 2 children under 3 who demand a lot of attention and want picking up!

AWW thanks for the positive vibes girls- I guess I'm very lucky but I suppose I'm also thinking that I shouldn't be over-doing things, I'm finding myself reaching up for things and wondering whether I should- there's no pain but is there still a risk I might damage things? I woke up with my arms up holding the headboard- I guess thats bad, is there a chance of making the implant rotate? (I have anatomicals). I slept better last night- was still awake from midnight til 4.30 but as I didn't have to do the school run I went back to sleep til 8.30. During the day I'm not at all tired, infact feel really energised, maybe I should get the doctor to prescirbe some valium just to slow me down- I think I'm just so pleased to have finally done this after wanting it for 20 years that my body and mind have gone into celebration mode rather than recovery mode.

I still haven't got round to putting my photos up but will post again when I do xxx

So good to hear how happy you are hun, I had my BA 3 weeks ago & didnt have much pain but i over did it a little then got pain but just do what your body tells you, it will soon tell you to stop if you do to much. But still take it quite easy as you are very early days!!
