Booked in ...
Due for my BA on Mon 11th and after missing my final sizing appointment (due to snow) on wed I am still not sure what size impant to have! On top of that I have had tonsillitis this week and spoke to my clinic and my surgeon and they both said it should be fine but anestist will make final decision before my BA on Mon morning. So after dropping children off at my parents, battling the snow, and staying the night before I am keeping everything double crossed that I can actually have the op on Mon!!! I have no temp and not on my chest feel fine in myself and been out walking the dogs every day for 3/4 miles in the snow!! Just so nervous that they wont let me have it, keep thinking that I have a cold starting or a cough... think I am being a bit paranoid!!
Still have all the normal worries and what ifs in the back of my mind, but trying to stay positive and not worry that I wont wake up from the GA!!
Thanks for listerning, just had to vent to someone. xxx

aaaaw babes, your going to be just fine.
if you generally feel ok in yourself then there should be no reason why the wont go ahead.
i had a cold a few days before mine and was worried they wouldnt do it but it was ok.
think positinve i know its hard, but it will be all worth it in the end.
keep us posted xx
and good luck for monday!!

Hi Andi99
U will b fine....think its heavy colds and chesty things the anethetists worry about not throats so much and ur over it anyway with no temp now so u will be fine......
Wishing you all the best for Monday, it is an enjoyable day and not as bad as u think it will be.....bit uncomfortable that's all.
Hopefully the weekend will go quick for you, as the last few days for me seemed to drag on and on! Keep yourself busy walking your dogs (how many have you got!) in the snow xxxxxxxxx

Good luck for Monday. I'm sure they will let you go ahead with it is your breathing is fine and there is no swelling in your throat from the tonsilitus to restrict your breathing. I'm sure they will go through the sizes with you before the op. Just go with what you feel looks right for you.
