I just confirmed my surgery date - 2nd November. Eek! It seems ages away but it's only just over 7 weeks..
In that time I would like to lose a stone to reach my goal weight! I'll give it a go. 
Hopefully I'll be healed enough to enjoy Christmas :)

Ahh yey, excellent news.
Well done, it will be here before you know it. Reckon you picked a good time too, mine was the height of summer, and hot. Winter is defo the best, can cover up with jumpers and scarves if you need to.

It will fly by, I literally forgot I'd booked mine for two months then next thing I was counting down 2 weeks away and I booked back in May. I'm already a week and a half post op

Great news!! Definitely a good date to have it done, Xmas 8 weeks after, and by then you'll feel completely back to normal - I'm almost 8 weeks post op and I'm doing everything now that I was doing before surgery! Xxx

I'd have preferred to get them done sooner but it was the earliest appointment the surgeon and hospital had. Just waiting for the hospital to write to me with the next steps and to confirm my pre-op appointment! Eek.

November isn't that far away at all!
I've just paid my deposit. I could literally wee myself with excitement, but for some reason I also won't believe it until it's happened. I have some irrational fear they're going to cancel me or change the date!
