Hi girls,

Just had check up with PS. He was pleased and will see me again at 3 months - hopefully be discharged then.
Now all my swelling has virtually gone I asked him about the rippling I can feel and also see in certain positions or light. He said it was normal with overs and my skin type and I would have to put on a few kilos to rectify it (NOT gonna happen!)

Do you think getting a tan would help? It certainly makes my cellulite look better on my bum/thighs so surely would be the same for my boobs. What do you reckon?

If so sunbeds here I come!!

I think tanned boobs always look better hun, not sure if it'll hide it but it's sure worth a try! Make sure you cover your scars too. Is it visible rippling or can u just feel it? xxx

I can see it too but only in certain lights. I did loose a bit of weight in the run up and a few weeks after the op so hoping if I put that back on (but no more) it will help.
Im sure no-one else could see it. We are always our own worst critics I think.
I'll deffo keep my scars covered up for sure I always feel better full stop with a bit of colour I'm naturally really pale.

I think I can feel rippling in my boobies, I have overs too. I love tanning, but cover your scars, as they'll go dark permanantly otherwise.

I actually used the Johnsons moisturiser and fake tan and apart from the smell it actually gave me a lovely glow.

I like the expression, we sould make that a boobie term.

Surgeon: When you do a monkey impression, do you notice rippling on your breasts?
Patient: A monkey impression?
Surgeon: Yes. When you bend over and let your arms hang.
Patient: Why do you call it that?
Surgeon: Well the phrase was first coined by Maria on Boob Job Support when explaining rippling to Anne...
