Not long now . . . have a few questions

Hi Girls!
I just want some advice really,
I'm booked in to have my boobs done on the 9th jan.
When I had my consultation with my surgeon I was so taken aback by the whole thing that I came away thinking well that wasn't the size i wanted to go and felt devasted to be honest.
Basically i'm 5'7 about 9stone size 10 is baggy but size 8 is far too small and im a 34a with virtually no tissue. I wanted to be a DD and at least a D but surgeon said that I would be a C and he would try to go up to 310cc and wont go lower than 270cc, me being me agreed but did say i want to be bigger but as I dont like dissappointing people I went with what he said. he said that it depends what he can fit in as I have a small frame and if i went bigger you would see the implant? I didnt really understand a lot of what he said to be honest as it seemed a bit lost in translation almost. Im going back to see him again on the 7th (two days before op) as this was the earliest hes back down my way, i'm going to say that I want to be a D at least and see what he says.
If i did go bigger than the 310 that he is advising i go for do you think il end up with a bad result?
I just had in my head that I was going to have these DD's and him saying a C i was like ooo.
Do you think these size implants will come up small?

Hi hun, we all seem to get different results from similar size implants. The smaller your frame the bigger they seem to be. Did you have more than one consultation with a surgeon? if not did the others recomend anything different. It can sometimes depend on your build and sometimes depend on whether the surgeon likes bigger implants. I know I was a 32A before my op and had 410cc but I did have some tissue. I'm now a 32F but only look a DD. It could be the case though that they just couldn't fit anything bigger without further complications such as looking too fake or rippling. I know I was warned mine could look a little fake, but they don't.

thanks for your reply misf1, no this surgeon is the only one iv seen. feel a bit naive about that!!! at the moment I intend to go back and push for a D but iv started to think maybe i shouldnt incase it causes problems!!! oh being a worrier is a right pain!!!

I would discuss it with your surgeon, make it known you want the biggest they will do without causing any further complications. I'm sure with the 310 you will get a really good size. You would probably measure a D/DD maybe even E although everyone is different and seem to get different results. You would look smaller than they measure though. Are you having over or under the muscle?

Hi hun. I am 5 ft 4, aprox 9 st 4 and 8-10. I had 275cc partial unders and have been measured at 32DD although I don't look it. I am a bit dissappointed and am trying to push for a re op as I asked my PS for at least 310 but she said they would look too fake. You wouldn't know that I'd had a ba with clothes on. I'd definitely say what the other lady said and push to go a bit bigger. Good luck hun x

thanks tazzietwo, i just get put off by peoples reactions and know that he'll be like hmmm well if your sensible you'll go for this size, so il have to stick to my guns!!!

Good luck hun, just be firm in what you say and discuss the complications with your surgeon. They want you to be happy at the end of the day or you will be going back asking for a re op and complaining. I know I'd rather have looked a little fake than have ended up any smaller than I am.

Hi hun, I am exactly the same height/ weight and bra size as you! I am aiming for a c/d though and want 270cc - 300cc - think basically with the size you have been recommended you would end up with what measures a D but looking a C - this is what i am aiming for but if you want to go bigger I would call your surgeon and discuss it now - if you wait a) you will be worrying about it for the next week and b)they sometimes have to order implant sizess in so you might be disappointed!

When you don't have much breast tissue, they recommend unders but I think this can restrict the size of implant you go for - taking this and breast width diameter into account i think sometimes there isn't that much of a choice with the size as people think there will be but as misf1 says somehow everyone one ends up with different sizes!

I had 325 partial unders and I went from an a cup to a dd .

Hiya hun, I had 250s and went to a DD altough my stats are different im sure you will achieve that with 310s..if your really not sure maybe get a opinion from another surgeon. Good Luck

hi hun i went with 260g from a 32A and now usually wear 32D but would say i look around a C Cup x

Wow!! thank you all so much for your responses!!! its quite lonely when you have all these worries, its so reassuring to hear from you all!! i must admit alot of you ladies have had roughly the same size implants and have ended up with a lovely size, im just concerned that i might be the unlucky one!! but must think positive!!!

I'd agree with what misf1 said. I'm also measuring an F but only look a DD as fake boobies seem to measure bigger. If your PS said you could get to a D, you might only look a C. Again we're all different but the common thread on these forums is that most of us wished we were bigger. Absolultey no one has noticed that I've had a BA, I can still fit into all my clothes. I'm pushing you a reop because of other reasons, but if I get it, I'm going bigger!
