One bigger than the other...
Since having BA my left boob has always been a bit more swollen than the right. I am now 4.5 weeks post op and it is slightly bigger than right but right has dropped a little. Well seen surgeon today and pointed it out and he said that one must be bigger than the other!!!! I know they definitely were ok before, could the left still be going through more changes? It's only a slight difference but I notice it and it's starting to annoy me also I don't know if it would be worth the reop if surgeon agreed to it. I really hope it sorts itself.
Thanks

Re: One bigger than the other...
I think only time will tell really. You are still pretty early post op so many many changes still to go through. Most people have different sized boobs - I'd never noticed the difference in mine until my ps pointed it out. They are still different sizes now but no one would notice other than me.
I'm sure they will even out honey. xx

Re: One bigger than the other...
I still have a slightly different size as my left dropped again at about 5-6 months right is almost caught up, so I know how you feel. Can take a while to even out.
Re: One bigger than the other...
Hiya hunnie after my BA i was really worried as one of my boobs was quite a lot bigger than the other--i'd say that for me it took about 4months for them to even out,so hang in there hun

Re: One bigger than the other...
Hi Lorraine and thanks everyone, it's soooo reassuring to hear that they can still change and it can take months because I assumed that would be first thing surgeon would say. It wasn't even bothering me until surgeon said it was a size thing . If anything the first surgeon said it was other boob that was very slightly bigger. Now I'm wondering if leftie is normal and something wrong with right. Are boobs like children do you ever stop worrying about them

hi hun, just wanted to say that my left is noticeably bigger than my right, and i didnt think it was bigger before, i really dont like it, hoping rightie will get as big as lefty, your month behind me, so maybe yours is just swelling?

Re: One bigger than the other...
Thanks fb, from what the other girls say it could take months still, so hopefully we'll both catch up. I got OH to take photos last nite to put up, but it looked ten times worse and I deleted them. But going to take more tonight but in better lighting. Hopefully!!

Re: One bigger than the other...
hi hunny if you didn't notice one bigger than the other pre b/a then i would think it's mostly down to swelling and it will eventually sibside and they will even out.
i have always had one slightly bigger, i think most women do but it's probably only noticable to ourselves too we are our own worst critics.
don't worry too much hun you have plenty healing and changes to happen yet.

Re: One bigger than the other...
Thanks angelkitten, I really hope it sorts itself, I do love my new boobs but feel like Ive paid £4k to look in mirror and still not be happy, although I'm alot happier than I was before about them. Like I say it's a small difference and yeah I am definetly my own worst critic maybe I'll just bin bedroom mirror because i don't notice it any other time.

Re: One bigger than the other...
Ive found my bedroom mirror really shows any flaw at all in my boobs so I avoid it too. Just ignore them for a little bit ,1 month really is very early days and this isnt the end product that you are looking at now.

Re: One bigger than the other...
I couldn't agree more xx A month is very early days, I'm now.....(looks at ticker......) 7 months and mine are still changing xx It really is a rollercoaster journey xx I've just gone up a couple of sizes to from an F to a G
I still have one bigger than the other despite different size implants, but to the naked eye it's really not that noticeable, however, if I sit and and really analyse them or take pictures of them the difference becomes massive in my head, even though it's not really xx
They still need time to settle sweety xx try not to worry too much xx

Re: One bigger than the other...
Thanks everyone, feeling alot more reassured, although I decided today if they haven't changed at all by march (I'll be 3 months postop) when I see surgeon I am going to push for re-op, but after reading everyones posts I'm more positive that I won't need to go down that road it's just my backup plan Just going to enjoy boobies in the meantime. Hoping to get measured after christmas because my 34dd are a bit snug at the moment

Re: One bigger than the other...
Hi girls, i've been really worried today as my right boob's slightly bigger than my left. I have been looking at them all day and been doing my head in! after reading these posts I feel so much better...
This website really is a god send as it has everything a girl and her new boobs could want to know the answer to!
I'm only 2 weeks in and i'm not loving them just yet, they look so false (yes I know they are!) and are very solid and I can feel a slight wrinkling of the implant at the sides too.
Just want every thing to be ok and have a nice life with my new boobs..... lol x

Re: One bigger than the other...
You will have nice boobs soon hun, they just take a while to settle. I'm sure you will feel better about them as the weeks and months go by.
Re: One bigger than the other...
Hey hun
Can only really echo what the other girls have said, 4.5 weeks is still early doors.
I am nearly 2 months (wow 2 months!) and I can see size differences.
hang in there girly - all in good time xx
