Hi girls, I've booked 2 weeks off work after my reop do you think that will be enough to recover? I work in a nursery but dont have to pick any kids up really

2 weeks is fine, my OH was off the first 2 weeks and did everything for me and I have 2 kids, one a very active baby, after 2 weeks I felt ready to get back to normal and resume my duties (a bit reluctantly).

I'm sure two weeks will be fine honey. I wasn't working when I had my reop but only had 2 weeks off with unders. Second time round I could have gone back to work after a few days to be honest. That maybe because I was back in surgery so quickly after my first op tho. who knows.

Yup, you'll be fine babe, after my BA, I was back to normal after 3 days, I was careful even though I felt good though, no lifting e.t.c just common sense really, but as far as how I was feeling, a couple of days and all was well. xxx

Laurax I'm sure you'll be ok too, like I said I have 2 kids and one is a very active 8 month old who loves being carried about, rocked to sleep and and take bottle with her head on my boobs!! and I was ok. It's very easy to worry about them but they let you know if you've over done it with the odd twinge.

That should be plenty of time hun. I had 2 weeks off and probably would have been ok to go back after 10 days.
Not long now, how exciting!

Re: 2 weeks off work for overs?
I'm only having a week off but as i work in an office they said it should be fine as long as i dont lift any heavy files or anything.
10 days prob would have been better but so many girls seem fine after 3 days i'm hoping i'll be ok. I'm going to nothing but rest for the whole week and if i dont' feel able to go back i'll have to go sick, lol !!
I'm sure you'll be fine
