Incisions after reop
Hey girls,
I'm getting my reop on 5th Jan and switching to overs but keeping the same implants so just switching placement and i'm worried about my incisions, they look so awesome now, really white and flat. I'm worried they wont heal as well or may be bigger after my op, anyone have any experience of this

Re: Incisions after reop
No experience Nads, but it is something I've discussed with my surgeon... he's told me he'll completely cut away all of the old scar tissue and will be creating a whole new scar so theres no reason why I shouldn't have nice scars like I have now....
Hope that helps hun. xxx

Re: Incisions after reop
Hope mine does that hun because i know scars heal less well each time they're cut, i'll have to ask, thanks xx
Re: Incisions after reop
My reop was so close to my original ba that I don't think its quite the same but I've had no problem with mine. Actually I just took some more pics today and you can hardly see them. I really don't think you'll have a problem Nads. xx

Re: Incisions after reop
Thanks girls, they were pink for so long and now they're so nice and white, not looking forward to that part to be honest x
Re: Incisions after reop
Hey lovely, SH cut and stitched them really neatly for you so I wouldn't be worried at all, he's a very good surgeon. I'd probably just double check to be sure though, but you'll be in great hands.

I think the fact they healed so well last time and youre young, fit and healthy they will heal just as well this time too.
Are you excited or nervous Nads?

Re: Incisions after reop
Nads, sorry I missed your post here, I have no experience myself but I am guessing as you healed so well last time chances are you will again, and surgeon is sure to take every care to use same scars.. I too would have same concerns, hope it all goes ok in Jan for you

Re: Incisions after reop
hey nads, how come your changing to overs??? yea i always wondered about the scaring as iv had them in and removed, my scars at mine are horrible, still bright red and lumpy. i should hopefully say they will be though the same place and as neat as before cuz iv heard they cut all the old scar tissues away, but that is something worth asking your ps babe. xxx
