HI sin-oil, I think it would be best to give your clinic a ring and find out, I personally cant see what the problem is, however I would deffo not reccomend that you remove them yourself, a eyelash tech would have the correct method of removal.

Good luck for your BA eyelashes 113752

.x. i don't see why it would be a probelm but i would call them to find out in advance and if you do need to remove them have it done properly because just pulling them off yourself you might end up taking half your real lashes along with them xxxxxxxxxx

I'd be interested to know what your clinic say hun. Not that I'm planning any more surgery soon it would just be good to know as I'm sure this will come up again. Please please don't try and get them off yourself tho.... you will end up with bald eyes!!!

Like the girls have suggested its best to ring up and check with the clinic to be sure hun. You could do yourself damage if you yank them out, sounds too painful lol bet they look lovely though xxx

Hiya, I went for an operation recently and got told off for leaving my semi-permanent lashes in for surgery just as I was being taken into theatre!! I hadsn't even thought twice about leaving them in. Weirdly enough when I woke up some were missing... don't know what went on there!

So, yes I think you would need to take them off and there is a removal solution that you can buy (I got mine from beauty wholesalers) which takes them off without damaging your natural lashes, if not the salon should be able to do it for you. Maybe just phone the clinic to check their policy, different places may differ in their opinion to this xxx

Hey lovely, it might pose a problem if they tape your eyes, sometimes they put tape over your eyes to protect them from getting dry etc. As the girls have said, check if you're not sure hun.

I agree with roxy in most ops they can have to tape your eyes shut. They use a lot of lighting which would shine straight in your eyes, maybe cause damage. The tape could pull your s/p lashes out.

me again......i phoned them and they said to try and have them removed.

i think if i really couldnt get them removed it wouldnt really of been a problem as she didnt seem to say that i definitly needed them removed or else.

she said the reason being incase one comes off and goes in my eye then it could scratch my eye. nice thought haha.

hopefully the salon that put them in for me can remove them tomorrow.

Thank you everyone again for your replies xxxxxxxx

Ooh yes better to take them off as if they tape your eyes shut you could lose some when the tape comes off. Shame tho. I know I'd feel naked without my lashes now.
