Hi-ho, hi-ho, it's off to London I go!
I'm off to London today to see the MYA nurse to have my dressings removed and hopefully my stitches out! I am quite apprehensive about what's under these dressings... but can't wait to get rid of the awful itchy things! I'll update you all later and hope to update my photos soon as well.

Well I'm just home! I was in and out all super quick. The nurse removed my dressings... while I constantly asked "is everything alright under there?"!!... and everything is alright under there!!
She got me a hand mirror so I could have a look. The right scar is nice and neat and looking quite good. The left scar has a little bit of red bruising just above it, but the nurse said that would soon fade... and it has also got a slight bump in the scar... aain she said that should flatten out with time. I guess on the whole my general feelings are of relief. I have had such an easy recovery, I was scared it still might all go wrong (ever the optimist!).
I have little steri-strips back on my scars at the moment. I can have a shower... hallelujah!!!! I have been told to take the strips off after 4 days and then just leave my scars naked !
I'll try and get my photos updated soon.

Thanks girlies . About 2 hours ago I was so itchy where the dressings had been :pale:. I was getting desperate... but then remembered some sound advice from BJS... and have necked an anti-histamine (sp) tablet. Back on track now.
