Strange thing sticking out of my scar Empty Strange thing sticking out of my scar

I am five weeks post op and scars are looking good. On my left one there is what looks like a tiny white thread just poking out from my scar. It feels/looks like a bit of frayed cotton. Any ideas? Thought the sutures were blue. Not going to pull it incase I unzip! Strange thing sticking out of my scar 24

Hi SW, it's probably just a bit of the stitch coming out. I had the same thing but just left it and it finally disolved. xx

Yup, sounds a stitch that is working it's way out babe. It should be fine, but if it causes any irritability, best you ring your clinic and have them have a look at it.. xx
