Unless you have some help for at least a week I'd say you won't be able to cope hunni... Best wait until you can arrange help for the little one and rest through your recovery and enjoy your new boobs.

Hey lovely,

For the two weeks after your op you won't be allowed to pick up anything heavy, and to be honest you won't want to either. You'll definately need the help of family/friends.

Another thing to consider is if you are thinking of having more children it could affect the results of any surgery.

Hi, I am 4 days PO and I have an 8 month old and am relying on my OH to do everything. I'm not in much pain but my body certainly tells me when I've done too much (which isn't alot). I've nearly passed out today so far, and been quite dizzy past few days, But this is just my experience, everybodies different but I don't intend to move from the couch till my check up on Friday. Hope this helps.

Hi hun..................you cant look after her on ya own, its not not realistic. I had my Oh & mum help with my little one for the 1st 2 weeks and even after then it was a real struggle to lift her.

& you will put ya self at risk if you do it on your own, My friend had her boob op but didnt get anyone to help with her 4 month old babe & she ended up doing real damage , her scars wouldnt heal because off all the liftin & she ended up with w nasty infection & hole on her boobs. In the end her surgen took her in at two weeks post- op & instisted that she go & stay with her mother over 3 hours away from her so that she could heal.
She stayed there for 2 weeks & told me that not letting herself heal in the 1st 2 weeks was the worse thing she did.

Dont do it on ya own, i no its hard but its not worth the hassle.
