exactly one month to go!!
So it is exactly one month to my surgery date today - woooo. Time has went by so quickly so hopefully this final month goes even quicker!
Just wondering if there is anything i should be doing at this stage to prepare - i am off my pill, got some sports bras, sorted time off work and organsied lifts to and from the clinic.. anything else i should buy or do girls? :)

Had a look there at that Argos one.. All 5* reviews on it so i have reserved one to collect. £10 is brilliant and be well worth the money if it helps get a good night sleep. :-) ahh i know!! So excited, cant come quick enough :) xxx

Re: exactly one month to go!!
I've got the Silentnight one, picked it up from ASDA for a tenner. Its so so so comfy to sleep on in general, and is really great for keeping you propped up the first few days when you have to sleep upright. xx

Re: exactly one month to go!!
Everything is there for you when you get to the hospital. They provide slippers and you don't need a dressing gown, the theatre gown will cover you fine if you tie it so the back isn't open. There should be a tv in your room for passing the waiting time so really just your phone charger (you don't want your phone dying).
Oooh and plan an outfit that will be easy to get on when you leave, some kind of button up top because you won't be able to lift your arms too much, and nothing difficult for the bottom, nothing that needs to effort to get on so maybe no skinny jeans? xx

Re: exactly one month to go!!
Definitely a V pillow! I can't sleep without it. (I also have the silent night one from asda it comes in a carry case and has a pillow case so it's quite good!)
Also I'd recommend getting some button up pjs and dry shampoo! Life savers for the first few days
I moisturised my boobs every day up until my op but aside from that you sound all set! How exciting! I'm sad my day has been and gone xx

So many things i wouldn't have even thought about. Button front pjs will definitely be next on my list along with the V pillow. Might get myself some loose tracksuit bottoms too to make it easier to get dressed. Will head to Asda to have a look for the silent night pillow theres one nearby me.
Were u advised to moisturise? I read something on a forum about avoiding products? Ahh how did ur day go hun? Cant wait for mine to wake up with boobies. Starting to get nervous though cant believe its actually happening! :-) seems surreal xox

Re: exactly one month to go!!
Bio oil is good for the boobs pre BA! But you won't be able to use it for about 6 weeks after your BA. Definatly button up pj's, blouses etc. and frozen peas, a great help with swelling, and the sunburn feeling x this month will fly by huni x

Re: exactly one month to go!!
Oh really? I have some in the house so might start that one tonight! Is that just for when skin stretches post op?
Have loads of hoodies etc which may also do the trick but button pjs are definitely my next purchase - gets me excited buying stuff :-)
Ahh i really hope so. Mixed emotions of nerves and excitement! Xx

Re: exactly one month to go!!
Aww it is a fantastic experience! I would definatly do it all over again! I had 325cc anatomicals. And I love them! Have you got someone to look after you for the first few days/week?

Re: exactly one month to go!!
I think i saw your picture trail a few weeks ago and they looked amazing. would be delighted if i got results like yous. your avi is also looks fab!! :)
Im having 300cc anatomicals too! What size were you pre op and post op? :)
My mum has taken the first week off to give me a hand. She used to work in a cosemetic surgery clinic as a nurse for patients post-op. So she will be a great help!! Have a few weeks off work too which should be plenty of time to recover

I got my button up Pjs from Sainsburys for £12 and they're super comfy and quite pretty too lol! I ordered my V pillow online to collect from Asda it was only £7 and was in store to collect the next day
I wasn't advised to moisturise but I saw a lot of ladies on here were moisturising just to try and help the skin become more supple before the op. I used bio oil or cocoa butter every day for about 5/6 weeks and the skin was really soft in the end
My day was soooo nice I was really really scared as it was my first ever op but the staff were amazing and I would've stayed another night in hospital if I could it was that nice lol. Make sure you enjoy every minute because it will soon fly by!! xx

Re: exactly one month to go!!
I need to go on a wee shopping spree to buy all these bits and pieces. makes me more excited when buying though :) I had a wee look there at the V pillow on Asda, going to order it tomorrow to collect at the store - can't argue with £7!
I have some bio oil in the house so starting this tonight :-) thanks for that suggestion :) my surgeon hasn't really given any sort of information regarding moisturising or even a V pillow!
I am in the same boat. its my first ever op too and absolutely terrified of the GA :( glad to hear you were looked after! i am only a day case, my mum is a nurse though so she is going to look after me. :) Really can't wait now.. getting so close
xx
