4 weeks post op...totally uneven!!!
First off, I should say hi and thanks to everyone for the all the great advice I have picked up browsing the forums. I've only posted once, but have been reading everyone's stories and advice and it helped a lot leading into my BA. I'm now 4 weeks post op with The Firm and a bit concerned so hoping people might be able to have a look at my pics and let me know what they think.
Although I know they are supposed to take time to drop (fluff), one just looks so much lower (the right one - my right) than the other and I can't see how they will even out. PM me for my user name and pw on picturetrail. thanks!

Hey hun. You are very early days yet and especially with unders it's often said they are like two different operations and will heal in their own time. I've even heard some girls say it can take up to a year for them to drop and settle completely. If you don't mind can I have a peek? xx

Thank you Jessica & Kerry! It is kind of you to reply. I'm trying to keep it in perspective that it is still early days. I've looked forward to this for such a long time. I guess I want them to be perfect!

Hiya Shell, I've just had a look at your pics and yes one does look lower than the other but they've changed so much from week to week. In the last picture you can't see as much difference, so I think over time they will settle and even out.

Thanks for letting me see, firstly welcome to the forum and you'll find lots of support here. I can see what you mean, but they are evening up as the weeks pass. There is a massive difference between week 3 and 4. Try not to look at them too often as you wont notice the changes as much. They are looking good, its early days remember hun xx

Re: 4 weeks post op...totally uneven!!!
Hi hun, please don't worry (easier said than done I know) I had exactly the same thing happen to me, my leftie dropped (4 weeks) and my rightie stayed high for ages (3 months). I know it's hard to believe but they should even out, can just take a while.

Hi Shel,
Welcome to the forum. I am 8 weeks post op with partial unders but haven't noticed any differences between my two boobies but do know that as the other girls have said you do need to treat them as two operations, and therefore they will heal and drop at different rates. Please could I take a look at your pics please and I'll let you know what I think.

Welcome to the forum hun firstly!
I think 4 weeks post op is stil really early days, the other thing to remember is the BA is 2 ops so both boobs will react differently.
Just give it a little time to settle down and see how you feel then.

Re: 4 weeks post op...totally uneven!!!
Hey Shel,
Thanks for letting me take a peek...
There is so much difference in your boobs on a week-by-week basis... you can see they are still tight looking in week 2, but then look a lot softer come your week 3 picture. There is a big difference between your week 3 and 4 pictures too hun and I think that the left one is settling and dropping in to place bit by bit... like the others said it just takes time and I imagine it must be very common for one to heal and settle faster than the other.
Who was your PS at The FIrm? Maybe give Samantha a call tomorrow and ask if you can pop in for 10 mins if you are really worried... She has told me if I experience any probs or am worried about anything in the slightest after my op they will endeavour to fit me in with my surgeon, SH.
It must be really hard trying to relax about this at the moment and I'd be doing exactly the same thing, questioning if this is normal - that's why i'd be straight on here like you are, to ask all of the girls who have been through what you are going through for advice! You're in good hands babe! :huggy:

Hello Shel and welcome to the forum
Glad you have found it helpful and the ladies are great!!
Could I have a peek at pics please?
I think you have probably gathered by now that 'odd boobs' is normal for a while, theu can take months to even out. I had them too. Hope you feel better knowing it is normal and patience is needed...also stop peeking soo often it really does help to ease the thoughts!! xx

Re: 4 weeks post op...totally uneven!!!
Thanks for letting me see your pics Shel. I can see exactly what you mean about them being different sizes, however, you really need to give it a few more weeks and then they would have settled even more, then if they are still uneven you should go back to your PS for advice.

Re: 4 weeks post op...totally uneven!!!
Hi hun, welcome to the forum!! I had unders back in Aug, and I have to say I have recently noticed the same. My right is much lower than my left boob, and I do look rather wonky at the moment! My left is still about an inch above my scar, and less rounded at the bottom.
Just thought I'd let you know that it's still perfectly normal, and unders can take along time to fully heal and drop.

Re: 4 weeks post op...totally uneven!!!
Hi Shel!!
Thank you for sharing pics.!!
I agree with the other ladies and as I said myself they can and often do heal differently.
From your pics. I can see the difference, though you say the right is dropping more, I see the left having dropped more (Your left). By week four they appear to be catching up and swellling subsiding. Also, taking a better shape, which will continue as they settle into your body and drop in time. Can you see the same difference in reality as in pics??? often the camera shows things up more than they really are! I did not have a difference that anyone else would notice, howeve,r with anatomicals pockets are made more precise.
I understand your concern, personally I would arrange an appointment with surgeon to ease this worry, ask him to explain the healing process and management and check you over. It is a great opportunity to enable you to feel normal and enjoy the process as you should.
I do think you have a fantastic size from the cc.'s and incisions look neat from what I see. I think you are going to be thrilled with end result when they decide to settle, and a couple of weeks will see a massive difference.
This is just my personal, honest opinion, apoligies if you expected me to say they look even!! But, I believe an honest opinion is the only way to enable you to feel all is O.K. and not unusual in early days.
Thinking of you xx

Re: 4 weeks post op...totally uneven!!!
Hey hun thanks for letting me see. As the other girls have said, I would try really hard not to worry too much because there is a massive difference between weeks 2,3 and 4. At 2 weeks they're still looking pretty tight, then week 3 you can see them really softening up and the tighter one catching up, week 4 and it's nearly there. I think they'll even up in good time hun, but if you are worried perhaps you should arrange to see your PS so he can put your mind at rest.

Re: 4 weeks post op...totally uneven!!!
Hi Shel
thanks for sharing, I have had a look and its deja vu for me, mine looked almost identical to yours at 4 weeks, try not to worry, (stupid I know, i was very concerned), my left one dropped nearly out the bottom and right one stayed tight and high and I was struggling to look in mirror, but I understand body takes a while to adjust, and muscles have to relax and accept them!
I am nearly ten weeks post, and for the last couple of weeks mine have been fab, I don't doubt, they are going to have a little argument with each other and do different things again soon tho and for some months after!!!
size is perfect for you and shape, give them time, and like the girls above said, try not to stare at them too much on daily basis, take alook week to week,, and wear your sb religiously day and night..xxxxxxxx

Hi Everyone,
I just wanted to thank you all for your reassuring words and advice. It's nice to know I'm not alone and there is a place to voice my concerns and be heard. My next appointment to see the doctor is Nov 23. I'll stop worrying now and just be hopeful instead! Patience!

Sounding more positive Shel
Patience eh!!!!! Not long now till appointment, giving the healing process time to do it's job.
You will never be alone on here, and all the ladies are great and we all have concerns at some stage. Hope you are feeling better, and starting to enjoy your journey.xxxx

Re: 4 weeks post op...totally uneven!!!
Hey Honey - could I take a look? I am 7 weeks post op and my left is lower and not as wide at the 'base' underneath and nipple is a bit high on the breast mound where my right is where it should be I think. I had my check up yesterday and he said everything was fine and healing well. But in my mind I can't have this as my finished result. I know even 7 weeks is considered early days too but I can't even show anyone at the moment. I'm sure it will work itself out - but when! Argh!!!!!!!!!!!
So good that you're feeling more positive keep it up - I will if you will.

Hi Everyone,
Just thought I would give an update. The surgeon felt there was enough of a difference between both breasts that he felt revision surgery was warranted. I'm to be scheduled to go in again in February. I have mixed emotions about it...happy that something will be done...disappointed that I'll have to go through this whole process again (will it make enough of a difference!). Sorry Mermaid that I did not respond directly to you, apparently I did not have enough posts to do so. Thank you for your support and kindness.
