2 weeks post op
Hello ladies,
I am 2 weeks post op and I am loving my new boobs. They are starting to 'fluff' out and look great. My stiching and scarring is great and I have no soreness which is good. Would I be able to wear an underwired bra for one night? I will be 3 weeks post op and was wondering becasue i have no soreness, would I be ok wearing a normal bra? All my support bras are so big (34F) I cant fins any nice tops that you dont see my support bra in...

I think you would be fine for one night hun. But make sure it is just one night. Your support bra is there to help the implants settle into place.

Re: 2 weeks post op
At three weeks post op, I wouldn't even think about wearing an underwired bra and risk doing any damage to the new boobies babe.
You should be fine to go braless or wear a pretty non wired bra for a couple of hours, but an underwired one, nope, wouldn't risk that.
But you could always ring your PS and ask him/her if it's OK. They know best babe. xxx

Thank you both very much! I will definately leave the underwire bra for a few more weeks. I will hopefully find a pretty non wired bra... has anyone got any good places for me to get one from...?

Hi, my surgeon has instructed me to wear a bra at 3 weeks, and I've found it suprisingly comfortable, I was alarmed at first that it was too early but I paid for him so better do what he says anyway I did buy some nonwired in case wired was uncomfortable and got them at debenhams 2 for £14, don't know about pretty as they are quite plain but it's always an option for you.

Re: 2 weeks post op
You can get non-wired t-shirt bras? I'd go for something like that if you really do have to go without your support bra. I wouldn't wear underwires yet honey. Your avatar pic is amazing by the way.. they look great x

Re: 2 weeks post op
Wow looking great DP!!
I agree with other ladies.....too early for wires, can disrupt healing of incisions and internal scar tissue. I would ask surgeon first. Also a non wired bra would be a better option for now.
I would think Debenhams would have the most options on non wired or other large department store. Good Luck!!xx

Re: 2 weeks post op
Yes lets start a campaign called womens rights to walk around topless!!! I'm sure the men wouldnt mind!! I think old Gordey Brown would go for it!!
I can wear normal bras now, and to be honest they dont really make that much of a difference, which i thought they would, but I still love my bangers!! Gok Wan styleeee!! xx
