Worried
Hi,
Having BA next friday, and I know this is normal, but starting to really get worried about it going wrong ie capsular contraction, infections and all the rest, it's the thought that I could end up looking worse when tbh not much wrong just now just a wee bit stretched after two babies. I don't think I could cope if they ended up looking worse and not being able to do anything to sort them. Sorry if I've scared anyone who's having BA in next few days but didn't help when last night OH said " it's not too late to back out!!" I know I won't back out but just can't help thinking something will go wrong. How can I stop worrying?

Re: Worried
its so, so natural to worry hun, you wouldnt be human if you didnt!
you dont have to go through with it, i got panicky and thought about bottling it, but i knew i would kick myself alot harder if i didnt go for it.
having got so close, and chickening out and having no boobies was too much of a reason not to do it, and having my old boobs when i had the chance to improve them.
you wont regret it if you do decide to go thrugh with it hun , all the best xx

Re: Worried
IF... and I do stress 'IF' in the unlikely event that you did suffer complications from a breast augmentation, there are very few things that can't be fixed and it is VERY VERY rare that anything would happen that could not be sorted out by your surgeon.
We all venture onto this journey knowing there are risks, but for me the risks were by far outweighed by what my breasts were doing to my self confidence, having breast augmentation and being one of the unlucky ones to have suffered complications, I can tell you that having my surgery was STILL one of the best decisions I ever made....
Good luck to you in whatever decision you make babe, just be sure it's the right one for you. xxxx

Just to add to this, that my post was based on using a surgeon you've researched and that their aftercare policy covers any complications that may arise. xx

You'll be fine hun. If its something you've always wanted then you should go for it. I'm not having mine until 23rd Jan and the nerves seem to come and go.
Try not to worry to much xx

Re: Worried
Hiya, I keep getting the same feelings. One minute I'm up and then I'm down. I feel my boobs are not so bad to look at (and hubby loves them) they look great in a good bra....even if I do say so myself. but I do want them to look great without a bra, just so I can wear nice strappy dresses and bikinis without upholstery. So I am gonna get them done, I'm inspired by all the lovely stories on here, if I get a down moment I log on here and read through the posts...I'm soon back on a high.
So your not alone with your doubts.....we'll get through this and come back with fab boobies.

Re: Worried
Thanks everyone about half an hour after I wrote post, I started to get excited about it!! It's so strange, glad I'm not the only one. Have got pre-op tomorrow so will probably get nervous again. Feels like it's not really me getting it done. Good hear that if something did go wrong then it could probably be fixed. Now worried I will get flu as everyone around me seems to be getting it!

Re: Worried
Agree with what all the girls have said. Its only natural that your worried - its an operation after all but as long as you have faith in your surgeon and the company has a good aftercare policy it really is just a case of go for it. that said you have to do the right thing for you and if you really don't think its right then its not too late to change your mind.

Tell me about it!.... I've got to have my flu jab tomorrow and I usually get a cold after it, just hope it doesn't last three weeks!... But knowing my ruddy luck!..... Aggggghhhhh.... See.... there's 'ME' worrying now!!!
Re: Worried
lol, I've been taking vitamin c and zinc tablets everyday for past 3 weeks. So long as we don't breathe near anyone till after op we'll be fine.
