I can feel both nips but bot are they sensitive some areas are numb still but the feeling is def coming back :-)
Well....dad is coming over in a bit to see my baby :-) will get the 'look' off him for sure he does know about it though wonder if he thinks there's much difference??? hmmmmm

Ohhh that's what you look like Stephy :) Always great to put a face to the name lol.
My nips are fully functionally in the sense that they KNOW when it's cold haha, no feeling when I touch them yet though.
Georgie have pm'd you details for my pics on picture trail, be honest!
Katy... will pm you in a min for your password :)

Katyox wrote:the fizzing / bubbling thing, its fairly common and frequently reported by lots of people so am not worrying about it. I think its just the build up of fluids around your implants sorting itself out. it only started yesterday and is pretty much every 10-15 mins today.
my leftie has no fizzing / bubbling and feels really tight around the stiches and pulls underneath a lot more than the right, but again hoping this is normal and will settle in time.
the main things I was told to look out for are gunge (sorry to be grim) from the incision area, significant swelling and hardening particularly if just one side and any hard lumps appearing.
Thankfully so far none of these have appeared.
my boobs are dropping and shrinking a bit and I can feel the sides again though the nips still numb.
hope this helps, basically I think we are likely to feel odd sensations for a while.
xx
cheers for that, I didn't think there was any need to worry.... Frig, I think I've enough on my plate (that I'm causing myself lol).
'Touch wood' (reaches for her head) I haven't had any gunge and have no lumpy bits near incision, like I said previously I think I'm been really lucky.

Vino - what is that again?? Feels like a lifetime ago since I had any (and vino ). I've got one more anti-biotic to take, so I may have a wee glass on Sunday... Then again, I feel like I'm coming down with a bleedin head cold (just my luck).
So, in the meantime have a vino for me doll

Re: December Buddies!
Hey Girls you all sound on top form as usual, I definately think I drew the short straw on this boobie journey. ..ignore me.... just feeling sorry for myself.
Thankyou all so much for your kind words, it means so much to know I can come on here and you all understand.
I feel loads better today, but still not 100% yet, this headache doesn't seem to be shifting and I can't understand why. I've given up the painkillers they obviously didn't agree with me. I don't have alot of pain just pulling where I'm stiched and my god do my boobs itch. They still feel quite tight and like you girls the left one still has no feeling in the nip.
I see you've all been busy taking pics...I've just not felt like it to be honest. I'll try and get hubby to take a couple later. The problem I have is doing it in secret...cos I've not told the kids its difficult. I'll be happily typing away at the computer and no.2 son will come in and say 'what you lookin at mum'...I'll quickly have to flick to another screen, and now they've broke up from school I'll have less time in private, I think I should probably have come clean in the beginning.
Stephy have a lovely birthday and hope everyone is doing well.

Stephy - Happy Birthday petal , the girls are right you don't look it at all... I'll be joining the '36 Club' in April so don't worry lol and you lucky lucky thing, these antibiotics taste disgusting (I know you're meant to just swallow them, but I panic when I take pills; another story lol, so I end up tasting the things... yuk).

Helena, you are sooooooooooooo funny. Glad you have been able to get into the groove with your OH though lol.

alfie wrote:Hey girls it seems ages since I've been on this thread. Had a laugh reading all your comments..I can sympathise with some things....being bunged up being one of them.
I have to say though I don't want to put a downer on you girls but I've been feeling awful.
I was fine....although very stiff and sore....until Thursday and then omg did I start to feel sick, I've decided its the painkillers so I'm not taking them anymore. I ended up throwing up last night, which did make me feel a bit better, but I feel like a zombie, I'm fed up, tired, I look a sight. I've even started thinking why have I done this to myself. I've got no one else I can talk to about this apart from my hubby..and bless him he trys his best to cheer me up.
I'm sorry girls for seeming so down, my god I should be jumping for joy, so why am I not.
Have any of you felt a little down since your op?
I was the same on the painkillers I was sent home with hun... I read in your last post that you stopped taking them... Try taking two paracetamol and one ibufren, it will help with any pain you have and also ease ease some of the swelling too
Having experienced both a BA and an uplift with implants, I have to say the latter is a whole something very different in healing babe. When I had my BA I was up and about after just three days, a week in total till I felt all better! This time though, it's come as quite a shock to me because I'm almost 3 weeks post-op now and just getting my life back to normal!!!!!
After a week, you should start to feel better hun and as the days go by after that first week, it really will get easier

Re: December Buddies!
Hey sweetie!, I'm OK... just finished reading your diary - sorry to read you still aren't happy with your boobs, I know you've heard this a thousand times already though, but do give it some time babe.
So many people will tell you about the blues they experience after their op and I swear it's down to GA and the hormones they jiggle about! Also the painkillers paly havoc too - I'm not saying what you're feeling isn't real hun, just don't be too quick to judge the newbies just yet - Big hugs for you!

Re: December Buddies!
Awww thanks Cookie. Yeah I thought it was about time that I updated my diary... I'm having a far better day than I did yesterday, so all good and well.
Oh and my son told me tonight that he was just winding me up saying 'small boobies' and that he was just embarrassed lol. Kids eh!
Yourself and looooooooooads of the girls on here have said the same thing, so I've agreed with myself to 'listen' to the advice and take a step down, chill and bond with the new additions.
So glad that you're well :)

Thanks Cookie I have to say I feel loads better today, I haven't taken any pain killers since Thursday (I think it was Thursday...I've lost all track of time.) In fact the last few days have been a complete blur. Pain isn't too bad, it's more discomfort than pain. If I do feel bad though I will just take paracetamol, unfortionately I can't take ibuprofen cos I've had a stomach ulcer.
It's good to hear from someone who has had an uplift as well, cos I was really wondering why everyone sounded so bubbly and I seemed to be a wreck. I go back to see Mr Liew tomorrow and I'll feel happier when he takes of the dressings and I know things are okay. God, I hope they're okay.
Hope everyone is doing well.
