Girls scars and numbness 476424

Is it normal at nearly 4 months post op for my boobs to still feel numb? They feel soft in the middle where my cleavage is and I have feeling in the old nips. But the outside closer to my armpits is still numb and some days my boobs feel hard!

Also my scars feel lumpy again not the whole of each scar just the ends closer to my armpits scars and numbness 727885

Is all this normal and am I worry about nothing?

Its funny you posted this as i had a similar feeling the other day i was itching my scar and never noticed before but it was still really numb and achey. I asked my mum about it whos just over a year post op and she said she had the same. Im sure its completely normal hun still more changes to come even at 4 months post op! scars and numbness 991311

Sounds like the nerves and internal tissue healing!! I did not have this myself...only the nipples!!

But many of the girls have said the same and it tends to settle quickly.

Not sure about the incisions though, perhaps someone else may shed some light on that...could well just be the internal healing? xxx

i'm almost 1 year post op and my leftie is totally numb still =(

The lumpy bits you describe sounds like hard scar tissue to me, apply extra pressure in circular motions direct to the hard bits when massaging and it should help break it down and soften it up scars and numbness 184153

I'm 3 1/2 months and I've still got numbness underneath both and around the side on my left, plus my left nip is still dead to the world. I have just started to get shooting pains every now and then in my left nip, so I'm hoping thats a sign that things might be improving.

I have numbness in places. My boobs were completely numb from under my nipple to my scars, then I started getting shooting pains at about 4 months post op and the area around my scar came back to life and I have full feeling there now. I can't feel my left nipple properly, but the feeling is slowly coming back. I have some numb spots, but I can sort of feel them it's strange.
