Hey girls, I'm ten days post op. I'm numb from the nipples down. Does anyone know when the feeling comes back - it's kinda freaking me out! Oh, and my nipples are super sensitive, can't touch them.

I was told it could take up to a year for the numbness to wear off....and then that wasn't a promise. I hope I get feeling back too.

I'm nearly four mths and still quite numb across the bottom of my boobs it can take up to a year! My nipples were ultra sensitive for a couple of weeks but that settled at about the 4 week Mark for me but everybody heals differently xx

I'm still numb underneath as well, and left nipple is super sensitive but right nipple is totally normal. I've also heard healing can take up to 1 year.

Ah well, it's worth it for big boobies!

Same here...I'm more numb underneath my left boob than I am my right boob...I can touch the underpart of my right boob and at least feel my fingers, but not at all underneath my left. My nipples still feel raw/sunburned...I agree, I was told it could take anywhere from 6 months up until a year for the feeling to return. As long as I know that some feeling is returning, that gives me a good feeling that I know I'm at least healing well. The sacrifices we make for good looking boobies eh? :)

Yes it took my one boob 1 year to gain its feeling back, but I do have a couple of numb patches still, but they are close to my scars and I really dont notice.

Hiya. feelin a little numb still myself too but nips are SUPER SENSITIVE - could hang coats on me all the timeWhen does the numbness go away? 199385

From what ive read numbness can last a long while so not too worried - especially as Ive had lots of little spiky pains all over each booby which Im assured today is a really good sign that the nerve endings are healing well - wishin i could move the numb part to the sternum bone today as thats bloody killin me Shocked

Yes, I find that using nursing pads and putting them inside your bras to cover sore/raw/irritated nipples helps tons!!!
