Boob jobs and buggies!
Thought I would post a bit of advice for any mums out there!
I was totally dreading pushing my buggy today for the first time, but it actually wasn't too bad! It helps that it's a lightweight easy-to-steer three-wheeler which can swivel all the way round, but even so, I was worried as I had to push it down a steep hill to nursery, and back up again afterwards.
What helped me was...
*only actually steering with my hands rather than taking any of the weight - just holding it lightly and doing all the work with my legs and bum
*keeping my elbows tight into my sides
*only mounting kerbs when it went flat
*making my eldest walk on the hills (it's a double buggy)
Anyway, quite a random post I know, but thought it may be useful to some ladies out there (Amanda, I know you have a little one too). Like I said it's a really steep, hilly route but it was fine as long as I didn't use my arms and chest. And at this rate I'm gonna have legs and buns of steel in a couple of weeks as I have to do it twice a day!

Re: Boob jobs and buggies!
hi hunni,
my buggie is a light weight one to, i attempted it this morning and was fine pushing it, but kerbs were a no no. im going to send my kids on the school bus this week as there school is a 45min walk and hubby pics them up in the car. then next week i should be able to manage the kerbs. my little walk this morning was only to the bus stop hee hee. i also tried hoovering today i was fine if i used both hands but its difficult to do it with both hands lol. i did have muscle spazzams after so i think i should leave that job for hubby for the rest of the week too. poor hubby he works 12hours a day too, he is soo good bless him.
but anyway good for you on managing it hun, i think i might be ok in a few more days.
hugs

i have still had to do most things ie bed making, polish, tidy, tea, pots, the basics coz hubby aint as bothered about cleaning as me, but the things that are too much for me to do ie hoovering, and washing my hair he has done it.
