Boob Jobs and Dentistry!
Hello again!
I have been reading something vague about certain dental procedures (involving local ana. I think) being more of a risk for people who have breast implants?! Does anyone know anything about this? Also, on the MYA website in one of the videos the nurse doing the health assessment asks something dental related. Surely these two things cant really affect each other, can they?
I'm not very happy with my teeth either, and am planning to get them neatened up as well - do you think I should get this done before or after the BA?
Thanks again for any advice!

Hi Nisey
I read something briefly on dental treatments before and i think the main concern is if you have had any treatment a couple of months before your op or have anything afterwards the risk of CC is slightly higher due to infections that can spread in your mouth.
I think you should ask your surgeon about it if your thinking about having dental work done soon after your op.

Re: Boob Jobs and Dentistry!
jings, that has me worried as i'm due to get a wisdom tooth taken out. :pale:
i will have to go try and find out about this, if it is true it is risky until after a few months then the tooth will be staying where it is lol.
there is no way i am risking anything happening to my new if i can avoid it.
i'm glad you posted this one or i would never have known.
thanks hun.

I read about it too and they suggest that you have anti biotics when you have dental treatment, so with a wisdom tooth they usually give you these. I gotta have mine out as well. Not sure when though, gotta go see a dentist at the hospital first cause I can't afford private.
