Bad night's sleep!
Hi girls, can any of you tell me how long it is before you can lie on your back and have a normal night's sleep?
It was only my first day home yesterday but had a dreadful night. I kept waking up to find I'd slid down the bed onto my back, even with a v pillow. Hubby had to keep pushing me up. Plus my pain killers had worn off so was very sore.

i sleep sat up for about a week and half but still could not sleep on side just on my back. everbody body heals differntly if it feels ok in a week then give it a try. god you had overs as well, normally people say pain not to bad just keep on top of your pain killers. xx

Re: Bad night's sleep!
Yeah the pain hasn't been too bad at all and I think because of that I may have overdone it the first day and paid the price last night when the tablets wore off. I'm quite conscious of exceeding the dosage so I'm going as long as possible before having to take more x

Re: Bad night's sleep!
Thanks for the reply fluffy, they're co-codamol. You're probably right, I should just take them every 6 hours regardless.
She did say to me that if they were too strong then just switch to normal paracetamol but don't think I'm at that stage yet. x

Tell me about it!! My bum and back are killing too. I bought lovely new silk jarmas for after the op but can't wear them cause they make me slide down.
Try putting a pillow just below yor bum to stop you sliding, i did last night and had a better night!x

Yes I'm really happy with them thanks hun, I'll be glad when the swelling has gone down though and they're a bit smaller and more manageable as they don't fit into any of my sports bras at the moment but overall I can't complain, I had a really good experience.
How about you? Have you managed to have a proper look at your nose yet? And how are your boobs settling in? x

Re: Bad night's sleep!
Yeah I had the tip of my nose lifted as well. I had loads of pics of my nose in the various stages of healing but one of my kids wiped them all off my phone. I have lots of how it looks now though.
Have you measured your boobs? x
