Thanks Girls- I can't beleive it's so much earlier- if I didn't change to early November it would have had to wait til January and I couldn't hack it.

Work just switched my holiday dates no problem.

OH GOSH! I'm a NOVEMBER girl!! Icon_eek I suppose I better start detoxing myself a bit. I wanted to lose about 3lbs before the op and I'm sitting here with a bacon butty OH GOSH! I'm a NOVEMBER girl!! 375568

ooh bacon butty yummy!!!! Congrats hunny - you won't have to worry about your xmas party now. I wouldn't worry too much about the weight although detoxing and getting yourself as healthy as possible is a good idea. I did this before my first op and found the GA much easier to recover from than the second (I'd been drinking up till a couple of days before OH GOSH! I'm a NOVEMBER girl!! Icon_redface and had what I can only describe as a week long hangover after the GA and morphine!)

oooh how excting!

I am suddenly not as excited as I was. I have just under 4 week left and I am almost making the most of it- I've realised most of my wardrobe wont suit me in 6 weeks... although it would fit it wouldn't look right and I am going to need to learn how to dress myself all over again!

My medical is in 2 weeks- I think I will be excited again after that!
