Bras Bras Bras????
Help needed girlies, I'm so confused I have less than 3 weeks to go now and need to get my post op bras. I really have no idea what size to get? I'm currently a 34B and having 375cc anatomicals. I told my ps that I would like to be a D cup.
Should I get 34D or 36D bras, I know a lot of you have mentioned that there is a lot of swelling at first or should I just get a few different sizes?? Also where's the best place to get them from? xxx

My ps advised the m+s front fastening ones, I'm also hoping to be a 34d and have got one 34d and one 36dd to allow for swelling.

I'd get both the 34 and 36D maybe even a 34DD as well. You do get swelling around your ribs so your normal band size might not even do up for a week. After that you got another 5 weeks of wearing it, so you might want more than one bra.

Hi,
I was a 32B and had 410 overs so not too dissimilar from you.
I bought 34DDs and 34E's from Asda. I wore a 34D for the first day but it was far too small with the swelling.
You will need to go up at least one band size due to the swelling. I would get a 36D a 36DD and a 36E and you can always take back whichever ones you don't use.
Asda's sports bras are £4-£6 so are a good bet until you find out what size you will be.
As for comfort, I found the best sports bra to be from La Senza. I ordered it online. They are £14 and come in black, white & hot pink. They have thin straps too so were good for wearing with vests.
Hope this helps,
Marie

I got a Tesco one today but I am going to but a Royce front fastening one too. Transform sell them for £25 which I think is quite reasonable compared to other places.

Re: Bras Bras Bras????
I had an m&s front zip bra which is very comfortable and supportive, also a royce post surgery bra is great. It is so comfortable and also really stretchy - it has seen me through since day one, so a good investment, but not so supportive feeling. I'd reccomend front fastening bra's all the way!
