Back to work today ...
... And really wish I hadn't.
My job is quite demanding with lifting boxes etc and while I haven't been doing too much of that I have been using my arms a lot, which over the last 3 weeks I haven't been doing.
Boobies are sore now and even more so around my nipples (just as it was getting easier)
note to pre oppers: take as much time off as you can get if you have a job like mine.

Re: Back to work today ...
Awww get plenty of rest this evening hun. It's surprising how little you have to do to get aches and pains at that stage...I remember finding driving REALLY hard work - it was like learning again. To be honest I think the quicker you get back to normality (within reason) the better though, so keep at it but take it easy.
A great excuse to get your OH to wait on you hand and foot!

Re: Back to work today ...
Hey Jemmy x x congrats on your new additions hun, hope you are healing well
I have a physically demanding job as well and went back after 2 weeks, but I tried hard to do as little as possible for at least the first week or so, and then after that I was fine sweety x
Take it as easy as you can gorgeous, just remember it's not forever, just another couple weeks, don't try to just carry on like before just ask for help where and when you can x

Hi Jemmy, hope you're putting you feet up this evening!
I agree with Carrie, I think it's good to get back to normality as long as you're not overdoing it (and it sounds like you're being sensible). I wish I'd started to do a lot more with my arms earlier on, as I'm still quite stiff and have lost a lot of strength.
I'm sure you're doing fine hun, like the others have said take it easy..and insist on being looked after when you get home lol xxx

Re: Back to work today ...
Hi Jemmy
Try and take it easy as much as possible, because you don't want to feel sore and overdo it. Can you say at work that you have hurt your back and can't do too much lifting? When I went back after 2 weeks off work, I said I had slightly strained my back, and managed to take it easy for the first two days. I work as a teaching assistant, mostly with children with special needs, so after the first two days when we were doing some lifting musical instruments etc and doing displays, work wasn't too physical, so I was lucky.
Hope you are having a rest this evening, anyway. How are your boobs feeling, in general? Mine are more comfortable now, still itching a lot of the time, and, although I tried sleeping without a sports on last night, couldn't manage it. My scars have been feeling sore as I have been doing too much, carrying shopping, driving, lifting things and fetching things from high cupboards.
Sasha x
p.s. I'm enjoying wearing tops which show off my new boobs!

Re: Back to work today ...
hi Jem, it is hard the first few weeks - I was working in an office at the time but still felt it when I was lifting files and stuff. Mine still ache a bit now sometimes but nothing like they did in the beginning. I think the bad back excuse is a good one. You really don't want to be overdoing it xxxxx

luckily for me, my dad knows everything. So has told me not to lift any boxes or stuff for customers. I was doing a little shelf stacking as we had a delivery in and felt faint so had to stop. Was really weird.
