Post by Ruth89 2nd September 2009, 12:06 pm

Im really worried about stretch marks as i have a fair few from losing and putting weight back on.

When can i start using bio oil on my new boobs? or is there anything i can do?

Im in a fair bit of pain but just on the incision itself really, will be writing my story tonight :)

I rubbed cocoa butter in about 3 days post op but not on the scars. I've got a few stretch marks above my incision but nothing major and I'm not worried.

Don't put anything on your scars yet, they are nowhere near ready yet. X

Palmers in the morning and night since 1 day after my op, I am prone to stretch marks also and have terrible ones on my legs (yuk). Just avoid you scars at all costs. My skin went really flaky after a few days so it was nice to be able to moisturise them. I remember for the first few days my skin was so tight it didn't seem to absorb the cream, but I carried on regardless.

I think most of it ends up in your sports bra for a few days, but I just kept thinking if a little bit is absorbed it's gotta be good for them.
