Well I'm 2 weeks PO today, and I have been extremely lucky compared to some cases I've read about on here, minimal discomfort, I can now sleep on my side, and I'm sure their getting a lot softer and squishy, even though I dont actually squish them, iykwim, and I'm sure all my swelling has gone ? well I hope so lol.

I was just wondering how long it was until you feel that they started to soften and go squishy ?

I might even go and get myself measured today, if my kids dont play up in town lol, I know it's a bit early, but I'm just wondering what size I might be? I'm currently wearing a 34E sports bra, I hope they dont get no smaller lol xx but anything is better than what I had before xx

I had anatomicals and was told to wear my sports bra for 3 months, and as soon as I changed to normal bras I noticed a big difference in how squishy they were

I had overs and didn't get to see them for 10 days as I was strapped up like a mummy. But, they felt pretty soft straight away.

I noticed the main difference 5 weeks post op. Same as Pinkbabe, bras didn't feel comfy until the 5-6 week mark.

I cant wait till they are totally soft, I cant try on normal bras yet though, it would be totally pointless :(, .

Hi Tracey

Mine began to soften at six weeks which is when I began shopping for the bras. I couldnt mould them into cups before that as too hard lol.

Now im 10 wks PO, they r soft and I can push them 2gether, up, squidge them etc etc.

Perhaps shop for bras next week when the schools/playschools are back??!!

Hi hun,
Mine have just started to become softer and started to drop a bit - I can squish them a bit but not too much.
I started trying bras on after 3 weeks cos my ps said I could ditch the surgical bra after 4 weeks. Anyway, I couldn't get my boobs in normal bras then so just ended up buying some asda sports bras cos they were comfy!
I'm gonna try again in a few weeks (when the kids are back at school so I can get some peace! lol) and hoping they'll be a bit squishier by then.
Oh, and I can only just lay on my side now so you're doing great 👍 xx

I thought mine were soft at 5 weeks post op, but that's nothing compared to what they were at 3 months post op! It was so weird, like it happened overnight. It wasn't just me either, my OH commented on how soft they'd suddenly got.

It's awful, because we just want out new boobs and we want them now! But just enjoy the changes to come and before you know it you'll be a few months post op posting about how soft they are now!
