Feeling a bit down :(
Hi girls,
Well I had my first post-op appointment today with the nurse - where has the time gone?! She took my strappings off so I had my first proper look at my new boobs.
I really don't want to sound like I'm moaning, as I'm still really glad and feel lucky to have had this done, but they seemed really far apart. I was totally flat-chested before - I mean, NOTHING! - so I wasn't expecting miracles. But I've come home feeling a bit sad about this. Do you think they'll soften up and look more natural with time?? It's just hard to imagine it looking at them now.
Sorry for whingeing, I'm aware I might sound like an ungrateful madam .
xx

Hi chick
Don't be daft about moaning! We all need to moan it makes us human!
Don't stress about your lovely boobies hun it's still really soon! Look at my pics again mine were really far apart - they have dropped a little i think now you see from my 3 week pics. I have a friend who's had hers done for years and she warned me that my boobs wouldn't actually feel like my own for 9 months!! We have to give the little blighters time chick even 3 weeks from now you will be different. So imagine how different you'll be in 3 mths 6 mths and the rest babe.
They have got lots of dropping and settling to do, don't worry babe!
Take care
Love lou x

i know how u feel, i am pretty happy with my new boobs after being so flat but mine are really far apart aswell, the only way i can get a clevage is if i wear a push up bra, i thought after a while they might change but imn 4 1/2 months post op now and they are still the same ('') xx

They probably will get a bit closer together as they settle into place, but you may find there always is a bit of a gap between them. Try not to worry about it yet though, it's way too early to tell how they'll turn out in the end x

Hiya hunny, i remember posting something very similar when i seen mine for the first time, i too had allergan soft touch full projection (unders) but had 255cc so literally the same. Try not to worry cos they change sooooo much and once they soften they come squishier and come closer together, xxxxx

Thanks girls for your replies
You've given me a bit of hope! I think though even when they soften there will still be a gap, because they were quite wide before, thinking about it. I guess when I was so flat I was more concerned about the nothingness rather than how far apart they were ! I just hope I can find a good bra to push them together a bit.
hotcaz and em_stevo - I think your boobs look great in your avatars, by the way!

Re: Feeling a bit down :(
Sorry you're feeling down hun, I totally get how you're feeling because I had the feelings of disappointment too - not so much that there is a gap between mine cos there isn't but just because they seem so high, hard and fake at the moment. I think it really is just a case of being patient and waiting for things to fall into place (literally lol!) xx

Re: Feeling a bit down :(
Aw thanks girls..my mum's getting really impatient with me and just doesn't get why I'm feeling like this! She just thinks now I've got boobs I should be happy happy happy just like that, which makes me feel even worse that I'm not  .
I know you're all right, I just have to play the waiting game! I think it's also going to take some time for me to get used to them because it's such a change - when I put up some pics you'll see what I mean when you see the befores . I don't think I was properly emotionally prepared for the change to my body shape.
Thanks for all your support girls, what would I do without this outlet!
