Just got back from seeing the nurse at MYA and had my dressings changed.

Can't believe how neat my scars are! They haven't scabbed over yet but I'm pleasantly surprised, I was expecting some sort of Frankenstein type scars when the dressings came off and it's not like that at all! Only thing is I'm gonna have to wait until Sunday night for my first shower, I'm dying to get really clean but don't want to compromise anything so will just have to wait.

Yeah I really am because I usually have a bath every day - but I heard you shouldn't immerse your scars in water or soak them for 6 weeks so I'm gonna have to wait even longer for a much wanted bath! Showers will have to be it for 6 weeks! xx

i'm so pleased your scars are nice and neat and your heling well hunni.....only4 more sleeps til you can have a shower! - bet your looking forward to it but it's gonna be so worth the wait.

Thank you I am having a love my boobies day today, they have really dropped since day 1. They still have a way to go with softening up etc but its nice to know they are heading in the right direction so far! Touch wood! xxx
