Is the pocket too big?
Ladies, I had my first b/a in October last year, and got cc in the left and bottomed out in the rights so were re done in May. Now the bottom out one is perfect but the one that was being pulled high by capsular contracture is a bit lower than the perfect one (the top of the implant feels about half to an inch lower) and on that side when I lie down it falls towards my arm pit where as the other one stays put. The surgeon had to do a capsulectomy so I'm wondering if he's left the capsule too big now which is why it falls and is lower. Any thoughts? It's also much squishier than the other one but the other isn't excessively hard.

Re: Is the pocket too big?
capsular contracture is your bodies reaction to having a foreign object in it, so it wraps it in excess scar tissue which pulls the implant up and misshapes it.
i had an appointment yesterday where they told me that yes the pocket is big on that side but its because they cut all the scar tissue out so we have to wait another few months to see if it tightens up and then go from there xx

I can help you. With a capsulectomy they removed the capsule either just the front or all of it. Either way your booby now needs to settle back in the pocket and form the healthy grade 1 capsule. I am the same as in I'm waiting for my appointment for a capsulectomy after my right formed cc again. Can I be cheeky and ask how painful was it

It wasn't any more painful than the first time I had them done I don't think, and I felt back to normal much quicker. I'd also had the other one corrected for bottoming out at that time but the capsulectomy side wasn't very painful. I only took paracetamol xx
