6 week check up
Hi,
I had my 6 week check up with the surgeon yesterday. He is very happy with the way my boobs are settling and so am I. They look fantastic, just right for my frame and are settling beautifully. He also said that I can pretty much treat them as my own now as long as I stay within what feels comfortable. Most importantly, I have permission to wear any bra I want!
So excited to start my new life of wearing nice bras I went to Boux Avenue after work to get fitted. It turns out I am a 32FF! That sounds crazy big. I was prepared for a bid size but in my mind I was expecting F. Although actually I am somewhere in between an F and FF depending on the style of bra. I ended up leaving with the lovely black bra in my avi and a pretty yellow balconette bra and matching knickers (I am also realising my new life of wearing nice bras will be expensive). I can't really believe the size. When I look at the bras off they look absolutely huge, like I could keep my head in it. And then when I put it on it fits perfectly and doesn't look that big. Either way I am very happy to have some more flexibility with what I wear as the sports bra has massively restricted what clothes I could wear (I like wide necklines and a lot of my clothes absolutely did not work with my sports bra).
Overall I am very happy with my new boobs and everything has gone smoothly. The only thing I am unhappy about is that I now have to massage my scars 5 minutes every day and it feels really unpleasant. I am not looking forward to doing that for the next 2 months. But I guess if it makes my scars heal nicely it will be worth it.

Yay glad you are loving them!!! I have spent an absolute fortune on bras! Agent Provocateur have a sale on at the moment so that was dangerous!
Isn't bra shopping so much more fun now we have something to put in them!
xx
