Booked my re-op
hi ladies. I have seen my surgeon today and he's agreed that the bottoming out has got worse since the last time I saw him three months ago. He was really kind and polite and straight away he suggested we book in for a pocket revision. He also said that my left breast is sitting too high which is suspected because my nipple was quite low and it was very full at the top. He said it appears the pocket isn't wide enough so he's going to revise that one too. So I'm essentially back to square one. Whilst I'm annoyed that I need more surgery he has told me that it isn't my fault and that it won't be as drastic as recovery last time. He said the left implant is also a bit hard so he's not sure if it's capsular contracture or just that the pocket isn't wide enough. Anyway he then sent me out to the coordinator to pick a surgery date. He was fully booked until the end of July or he had one space for Wednesday! So I've taken that. They said it was a lucky space because they can't fill it now anyway because of the 14day cooling off that you'd have if you were going in for BA so I'm glad to take the slot and get this sorted sooner.

Re: Booked my re-op
Thats great news. Must finally be nice to have a date set and know your getting sorted.
Do you have to pay then or is it covered in your aftercare?
And what size will you have, the same?
Thrilled for you.

Yep it's all covered in my aftercare and I'm staying the same size. I had lots of asymmetry before so I know that these sizes even them out so I'm keen to stick with them xx

It's quite achey along the scar line and kind of feels like it flips back and forth when I lean forward and stand up xx

Yay that's good news u are getting it sorted!! It's annoying but in the grand scheme of things not too bad - the recovery is annoying but like u say - it shouldn't be as bad this time and you'll soon be in bikinis!! Pleased it's all covered moneywise! X

Aside from that because I totally forgot to write anything relevant. I'm really glad that he's agreed it needs fixing. He did say that as I wasn't symetrical before it won't be perfect but he agreed that it's not right at the moment. Roll on six weeks time so I can hopefully see a better outcome

Re: Booked my re-op
Hello - well I usually wear a 32dd or a 30e and I've had to get this one in a size 32F. So I'd say you'd probably be a bit bigger - I'd say order a size or two bigger than your usual! Or just order a couple of sizes and send the rest back! xx
