do you use sunbeds?

ive never used one but im havin photos taken on weds and was wondering if 4 mins will be a bit risky as next week is only week 8? i know im allowed sunshine now but sunBEDS? especially when i've never used them before?

im dark anyway olive coloured so i never burn but the scars are brand new so???

hey.. ive personally used sunbeds for years now.. but i have treid to stop completely.. as its sooooo bad for ur skin.. and id be gutted if i started to get wrinkles!!!
Its soo important to look after ur skin when ur young!! just hope im not too late!!
I definitley wouldnt reccommend sun beds!.. but 4 minutes not hurt!! Your soo better off using a fake tan..much safer.. and one application will be much more noticable than 4 minutes on the sunbeds!!!
Also my friend who had her BA recently is also a sunbed worshipper.. she used the sunbed probably 2 weeks post op.. for 9 minutes (as she usually would) she said she was ok with it.. !?! but felt slightly dizzy... hmmm xx

i went on one today bit covered the scars up, although dont know why because i spent the day outside and now have a nice round mark on my chest!! lol i think 4 minutes should be fine as long as your scars are covered. i read somewhere not to expose them to any kind of tanning for about a year x

they are really naughty!!!!!! ooh i dont know much about scars yet as im still pre op!!!! good luck tho... lots of great fake tans out there!! dont know where us girls would be without them!!! xxx

just make sure u keep ur scars dryish?!? im sure that a fact?! xx

I have very fetching comedy white bits where I've gone on the sunbed since my surgery and covered my scars up. I probably use sunbeds once or twice a week - I know they're bad and age your skin but I find it so relaxing!

No i wouldnt, you dont want wrinkly looking boobs before your time lol or darkened scars. Fake is best but not over your scars until they're healed x

I got a block booking after my holiday to keep my tan up but havent even used them all i get too scared incase im going to get wrinkles lol.

Dove tans great and st tropez is good too.

i used sunbeds every week for 10 years, i gave them up a year ago and now i only use fake tan, if u are gonna use a sunbed id wait till your scars are properly healed xx

I love sunbeds, but using fake tan at the moment and getting on quite well with it. I'm sure I read that you have to be careful with new scars on the sunbed as they can go thick and keloid with too much exposure.

im 9 weeks post op now and u cant see my scars (they r in the crease) although the couple of times ive used sunbed since op ive kept my bra on..........where r yor scars for u to be so bothered about "tanning" them ?????????? Screwy

i used sunbeds but always cover my scars up i was back on sunbeds as soon as i felt better
aslong as you cover scars you'll be fine
i've been trying to stop using sunbeds as much so been using that dove summer glow moisturiser instead xx

i use sunbeds once a week just for 6 mins, i find that keeps me nice and golden and i put plasters over my scars.
i always cover my face though, usually with a vest top folded in two.
i, like sally find them very relaxing and they seem to lift my spirits up.

my scars are under my boobs and also i have 3 over my abdomen from liposculpture. i'm not gunna bother with them i'm already tanned i just wanted to look nice for the photos im doing weds but im wearing my white bra so will look brown anyway haha

I used sunbeds a few months after my op. I actually found that they helped my scars whiten... but this is just me, I would always recommend covering your scars.
