Pre-op nerves have kicked in!
I've been keeping myself very busy trying to get everything organised. My partner doesn't drive yet and we live in the middle of nowhere. He works from home and I usually do all the driving to get shopping etc. We are going food shopping tomorrow to get a few weeks' worth of stuff in case I'm not ready to drive in 2 weeks. I don't want to risk doing a delivery shop as they might refuse, it's a 2 mile very muddy and rough track to our crazy house and nobody can ever find it!
I had to get the dogs to the vets for their jabs and the car to it's MOT. Everything happened at once!
All that is adding to my stress. Knowing my partner can't just pop out to get me anything. We recently moved here so we've not made any local friends yet (there aren't really any local people anyway lol).
I've managed to get my best friend to drive the 2 hour trip to pick me up and take me to the hospital which is 2.5 hours from me. He's going to collect me and bring me home the next day too. What a superstar!
I just can't wait to get back home and into my bed once it's all done! Roll on Tuesday! I think the preparation for me has been the most stressful part!

So excited for u!! Not long now!! I was the same as you with the rushing around getting organised beforehand as it was Christmas so had to get all the shopping done presents wrapped etc! But come a week you'll be annoyed with feeling so useless so make the most of being useful now I say!!
You've waited so long for this so I'm pleased it's come around so quick for u now - only seems like 5 mins ago you posted saying you'd re booked!! Good luck and keep us all posted!! Xx
