Wires at last
Evening ladies, hope you all are tickerty boo
Saw ps today and got the all clear to treat boobs as my own do wire here I come. Just wanted a bit of advice please.
As I've been out of wires for 5 months, would it be best to wear a wire a few hours a day and build up or to wear all day then rest in a sports bra the next day or just go for it and see how I feel?
Sounds silly asking but I still don't want to give myself undue pain or problems. Xx

Re: Wires at last
Glad that you now can wear wires. When I wore them I hurt the day after, so I would recommend only a few hours at a time xx

Re: Wires at last
when i had my first ba and was allowed back into wires i was fine, from day one in them all day i think we are all different, i found the balcontte style bras very uncomfy, weird really!!
But i did love when it was sports bra time lol
Not sure this time around still got a few weeks to go, i have just ordered a new high impact sports bra from marks

Re: Wires at last
Thanks ladies. I have one lace non padded (new avi) which I'll start wearing tomorrow, if it gets uncomfortable I'll put sports back on, if not I'll take it one day at a time. I'm so excited, can't wait to be unleashed on the shops xx

Re: Wires at last
Ahhh thanks for asking after me Carrie! I'm ok - just worried about the Seroma in my right boob as it's quite painful and engorged - especially with the compression band. Struggled with my commute to London yesterday and was exhausted at the end of the day! But seeing my lovely surgeon on tues (bought my appt forward as I've been worried) so in hoping he will either set my mind at rest or discuss a plan of action!
Hope all u ladies are having a lovely weekend xx

Re: Wires at last
Well I managed half a day in a wire yesterday. The bit that sits in middle on chest bone started to hurt but apart from that all good. Think it's just a case of soften/braking that bra alittle. Back to soft cup again today though as just chilling at home. Xx

Re: Wires at last
That's good news!! To be honest wires often used to bother me pre BA anyway. At least u now have the option of soft cup / sports bra and still look boobilicious! X
