Feeling blergh...
Hi ladies,
So I haven't been on here a lot. Seem to be developing all sorts of issues possible haha..
So I had my first check up last Tuesday and had all tapes etc removed, I had developed Traction Blisters, they didn't really hurt but looked horrible, so hard to look past these bright red blisters on the sides of my boobs. Other than that the nurse and my surgeon were really happy with how things were healing and looking.
Then towards the end of last week I noticed white/yellow patches developing on parts of my incisions, contacted my surgeon and I have developed wound breakdown, now my right lower incision looks horrible! I have two sort of holes that have no skin over the top for protection just what can only be described as soft squidgy caves! My surgeon says nature will take its course and they may get bigger before smaller, I'm just feeling so down about them when I look in the mirror. The blisters and now going down however which is good!
My actual boobs I am loving, he has done a great job, the size and shape so far they look fab!! Just feeling a little ucky having so many strange patches on my boobs and incisions at the min. I just need to be patient I guess but I can't help but worry!

Oh no poor you Emily, sorry your having some issues.
Getting in touch with your ps was the best thing you could of done. He seems to think that all will settle and by the sounds of it he is not too bothered by them.
I also had some blisters but they was down to the bra rubbing near the incisions. They worries the life out of me.
Hope this returns to normal as soon as possible. Try not to worry too much ( I no it's easier said than done ) chin up xxx

Oh no I can totally understand why you are feeling down but he doesn't sound too worried and just think the boobs need to go through an ugly patch before they can be beautiful! Plus it's winter so u won't be showing them off yet anyway.
I'm having a few niggles too. Went to get my tapes off today and the surgeon thinks I might have Seroma in my right boob. It is sitting high still so he has given me the dreaded strap to wear and I'll go back and see him in 2 weeks.
It's not very comfortable that's for sure!
Hope things start to improve for u xxx

Re: Feeling blergh...
So sorry to hear your having healing issues. I guess with re surgery plus and uplift there is a bit more healing involved than a straight forward BA. I wish you a speedy recovery x
Hope your strap sorts out your issues Lucy. X
Here's something to cheer you up, I had a filling at dentist this morning and I think they used a bit to much numbing stuff, I can't feel the right side of my face at all, when I speak I sound like Daffy Duck, can't even drink a cup of coffee without dribbling it down my chin. Botox eat ya heart out. Lol xx

I haven't had a filling for years and had completely forgotten what it's like, feeling is slowly coming back but I've just had pins and needles in my nose. Weirdest sensation ever

Mouth is fully functional again thank you, and only a little sore, just hoping the filling has done the trick otherwise it's a cap :-(. Yes a numb face is totally comical lol x

Re: Feeling blergh...
I bit my lip really bad once and I didn't relise until later once the numbness had gone. Turned into a really bad ulcer. If I can manage now I prefer with out the numbness. Xxx
