6 months down the line scar still on ribs!
So I will be going back to see my surgeon as I am still unhappy with the position of my scarring as its on my ribs on the one side.
Also will mention my lift on the one side as the areola has pretty much gone back to the size it was before but is a weird shape at the top...it is basically is more egg shaped than round.....booooo!! :(

So sad to hear that you aren't totally happy, but hopefully the doc can explain and maybe (hopefully!) it is just the case of waiting a little longer but otherwise hopefully they can revise it...good luck let us know how you get on...I'm having a lift and a reduction in nipple size...worried mine will stretch back now too

Hey wildflower, xx
Thats a pain, i know you were patiently waiting for the 6 month mark so assess any changes. I take ir that hasn't happened? Has your ps signed you off or are you supposed 2 b seeing his again? Think you definetly need to discuss your concerns with him. And maybe have some form of surgery revision?
I feel like my right scar is really bad, its at a funny anhle and as my boob hasnt dropped as mush2 as leftie, it accentuates it even more. But...it is something i can live with and hide in a bra. But it does bug me. Just hoping with time it will drop and cover it but..time will tell i guess.
Do let us know how you get on, i often wonder how your doing.
Gd to hear from you. Jst hope you get sorted lovey xx

Thanks will let u know how it goes! My surgeon just said I can go back whenever I want as much as I want after the initial healing so thats good!
The idea of revision is pretty daunting though ..and I'm still skint after the initial op ..so frustrating!xox

I know, I read my reply back to you and did think, god the thought of revision is scary, daunting, as well as more money.
And maybe you won't need that, just best to spy to him.
Good you can go anytime you need to.
Hope you get sorted xx

yes it really is daunting....I've actually just been looking the areola tattooing...i recon that might be a better option than more surgery...and cheaper..thinking can just outline the eggsahped areola (lol) into a circle then just outline the other one to match....just drew some on with lipliner?! haha actually looks good makes a huge improvement!...and I think if they are just a little darker that will help distract from the rib scar too...hmmmm options!xox
