V shaped cushion post op - yes or no? Empty V shaped cushion post op - yes or no?

Post by Asorrell81 20th November 2015, 5:30 pm

Would you ladies recommend getting a v shape cushion for post op or would you not bother? I'm worried how I will sleep as I'm usually a tummy sleeper and rarely sleep on my back. I have been trying to to get myself used to it but always turn over in the night!

What do you think?

A lot of ladies on here love them. I brought one but just didn't seem to get on with it! Maybe i wasn't putting it in the right position? I ended up buying 4 'normal' pillows and using them and seemed much more comfortable?

I didn't get on with mine for post op at all, ended up with about 4/5 normal pillows. But now its the most amazing thing ever! I use it all the time on the couch for gaming, TV, reading, napping, so it wasn't a wasted purchase.

Thanks ladies, I think I will get one then, spent enough on the actual op for a few more ££'s

I bought one and then hated it, just couldn't seem to position it in any way to help. When I tried it low down it didn't do anything a pillow couldn't do (and was less volume than a pillow in a way). When I tired it higher up I felt like it was pushing my head/neck forward and curling my shoulders inwards like I was sinking into a hole! I even tried it again when I could sleep more on my side with it in a sort of C-shape around my body/between my knees but again it just as wasn't as comfortable as a regular pillow!
